Emergency Community Network- Carlton and surrounding villages

I am writing to you on behalf of a new network that has been set up in response to Covid 19 virus. The network includes members of the village hall committee, local businesses, pubs and churches, as well as the parish and county council. The main forum for the network is on Facebook at Emergency Community Network - Carlton.

The network exists to help us support each other through the next few months. There are two main ways you can be involved:

a. If you are self-isolating and would like to register in case you need any support please ring us on 07562 267815 or [email protected] The type of support we are hoping to offer is phone calls, pharmacy collections, book drop, posting letters, dog walking and shopping.

b. If you are a local resident and would like to help. Please complete a short registration form, outlining your skills and availability. We will also ask you to complete a short reference, share any existing DBS check details, and then issue you with an ID card.

We all need to get through this crisis together and any ideas are welcome for making our communities a better place to be at this time.

Thank you in advance for your support, on behalf of the Emergency Community Network (Carlton and surrounding villages):
