A protocol is being developed to weigh- ins and final matches to be placed on the website.  Provincials were held in Saskatoon. It is a half City Tournament which was held at O’Neill High School and Johnson Collegiate. d) Scholarships  Forms are on the RHSAA website and are due May 15th. Ensure that reference letters speak to why the candidate is suited for this award not just a list of student accomplishments. If a student is compassionate give an example of he/she is compassionate. A city tournament for boys and girls will take place on November 12th at Campbell Collegiate. The Tournament will be a round robin pool play. The top 2 teams make the City Final. Access Communications has been secured to cover the games.  Campbell Collegiate (Girls) and Miller Comprehensive High School (Boys) are both hosting Provincial 5A Championships. k) Curling  Numbers continue to decline. l) Soccer and Volleyball League Projections  Volleyball - will have a Tier 2 in Jr. and Sr. Girls based on competitive pockets. Those decisions were approved via email last week. Tier 2 has no provincial advancement so Sr. Teams that are 5A by population will have seasons end in this payoff. Remember to check no to provincial playoffs.  Soccer - Teams are divided according to school population. It has worked out to be balanced number of teams in each league.  Hockey - There is a need for a school to host the final year-end tournament. Cochrane no longer does it. Presently the RHSAA does not endorse a City Championship in Hockey. m) Decision Making Sport Specific Meetings  Recommend that ratification by Principals and Athletic Directors be made when Sport Specific Meeting decisions affect finances and time out of school.
