March 23, 2009 (Philadelphia, PA) — BLAIR BODINE of Ambler, PA is set to release her self- titled debut album at Philadelphia’s World Cafe Live on Wednesday, April 15th, 2009, to be followed with a New York City Release Party exactly one week later at The Living Room (April 22nd).

Blair’s self-titled debut album is proudly “home-grown” but her impressive life experiences have been global in scope; from peace-keeping initiatives in Ghana to an elite business training program in Scotland; from intensive language and cross cultural studies in China to being a US representative to the Space Generation Summit in Houston, wherever Blair traveled she carried a song — and the music transforms the landscape of her life and others. www.worldcafelive.com 215-222-1400 World Cafe Live 2025 Walnut St., Philadelphia Summary of Background

As Shades © celebrated diversity and friendship and was used for the World Conference Against Racism (UNICEF and UNESCO), Child of Light © supported the Coalition to Stop Child Soldiers and to promote their hope and healing to transform their lives to become peacemakers. Star Struck © promoted youth and science and education and was inspired by Blair’s days as an educational guide at the Franklin Institute. And finally, Silent Harbor © to honor fishing villages and mourn the loss of youth from the submarine collision tragedy of the Ehime-Maru, the fishing boat from Japan.

And last but not least, Endure ©, a compelling and stunning testimony to the power of faith . . . written following 9-11.

“And in the darkness of the night I am guided by Your Light And in the Brightness of a Brand New Day, I will Lift a Light of Hope to Guide My Way To Guide My Way . . .”

At Columbia University Blair excelled with all Varsity Show events and continues with Tea Party (cool kids still doing cool stuff). As a graduate in ‘06 East Asian Studies, she had the opportunities to write and perform original songs in China — a real cultural bridge builder at talent shows. As a volunteer for Peace by Peace, she implemented non-violent conflict resolution into public schools — but never without a song. Recently Blair shared her songs with The Children, informally of West Ambler where she is hoping to incorporate the arts into how to bring diverse groups and collaborations together.

New songs Like Rivers of My Own have the unmistakable Blair burst of strength, courage and compassion. But on this new album a seasoned, soulful performer steps up her game to full- fledged pro.

Finally — in the areas of human rights and dignity, Blair is the ultimate Philly Global Glow Girl. First on the scene for A Day of Dignity to support the Save the Children Campaign on 2004, she has worked not only with Liberian and West African refugee children who have experienced war-related trauma, but here at home where many have located to the Southwest Community.

Her Beyond All Borders campaign is about reaching beyond all borders for peace. Her musical CD project produced in 2003 titled Song Book for Life was used as an educational tool and model for teaching about the rights and dignity of all children. Linking youth from war-torn areas and helping them to express and create a more peaceful world has made Blair a role model youth peacemaker — whose songs and spirit will continue to thrive with a song called Shades © that was used with a video to promote the Global Conference Against Racism. Whether recording from a basement on South Street, to an attic on Fitzwater with true blue friend the McShanes, Blair shot out her songs so far out of the box, we’re having trouble putting her back in one. For 9-11, her story Endure © had a compelling message — “And in the darkness of the night, I am guided by your Light . . . and in the Brightness of a Brand New Day — I will Lift a Light of Hope to guide my way.” Singing for Martin Luther King Day events, recently performing to honor Jack Healy in Vermont in recognition of the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, here is a -producer and humanist for a new day dawning. Next month Yuris Night/The World Space Party will feature Starstruck! The Cosmic Classroom for Peace — Blair’s own musical way to care to dream beyond all borders. Featured on WHAT, WDAS, Radio Netherlands, the United Nations in Liberia (UNMIL) and Sierra Leone, her Child of Light/Child of War song and Beyond All Borders won the UNESCO Music and Peace Program and honored by Goldman Sachs as part of their I EARN Canada best educational programs for youth.

And inspired by the plight of vanishing fishing villages, Silent Harbor was featured on the Uwajima website as support for youth students tragically perished in submarine accident. The recorded song was sent to the families of the survivors to the radio station to raise funds for families. The Uwajima Fisheries High School Training Vessel Ehime-maru collision support center at the Department of General Affairs, Uwajima City office by the mayor, who loved the song —

“Here in Silent Harbor © You’re a lighthouse to my soul.”

Inspiring and Innovative- join us for the launch of this amazing new star Date: Mon, 23 Mar 2009 14:23:02 -0700 (PDT) From: LAWRENCE BODINE Reply-To: [email protected] Subject: Sample Best Lyric Snippits for New Press Release (at top of Page if posssibe) To: [email protected], [email protected], "[email protected]" hi Larry- today in haste, (real- haste...) sent a very rough write up for Backgroud of Blair's musical and performance career- Because it has been so very untraditional- from basements to attics- going global and local at the same time- her new CD has lots of great material- but her release lacked the history of how far she had come- and how very much she had contributed to the musical landscape of her life- and others.altho- they are not the songs- I did want to include a wrote up with very specific - as you can see- destinations of the songs- sometimes when we ask God to shop our tunes- they land exactly where they were meant to be- and so , in a sense, its a true testimony to her gift of song and God's Grace to deliver them to thiose who needed to hear the most. now that her new project is all studio and she wants to present herself herself- I still flet compelled to contribute the musical history- as it is the truth and without it-frankly, many of these press releases of young rising sound the same- she had the courage to take and make her own path- and so that is what I documented- As you and I know- nothing is more powerful than the truth- there are lessons in a life well lievd and songs shared generously in the spirit of peace.

And so- I mailed in haste a real; rough- but if you can do what you can- free more than free- LIBERATED INFACT- TO EDIT- there are duplications, I was sitting in a loby at plymouth meeting mall hotel pretending to be a guest, so I was limited in time- Also, I am writing so mnay condolences about my mom's sudden passing- that it was hard to multi-task when itis about death- and the depths of what you loved- And so- I am asking for help. I am sure Chase and Blair will agrtee on the meat of things- but if you coudl typw up- omit/clean -up- take out of its too much or duplicative- and please email back to blair.bodine#gmail.com and bodineC@ cbsnews.com and [email protected] My experience in PR is people neeed the information- what distinguishes one from another- there is an authenticity and grace about Blair's work- and Blessinsg were far too many to count- the epople and the places all these years- It may be a new Album and CD- but the girl is who she is becuase God walked her down a unique pathway- and it is hers to claim and name- so if the material is in backgroud - it helps article writers- inetrviewers to springboard- etc. and now there are some lyrics that I have snagged that can go separatley on a page or along side aprrallel of the wish inside a well quote- Graphically - with small type- I saw more than one highlight- four boxes- but little mini samples sets of lyric or verse- Teasers at the top. I think her lyrics are so strong- woudl hate to single out one favorite.

*BE MY MOON* well its the space ebtween the lines its the pull between the tides the gray before the light of a new day

*I BELIEVE * lift your words off the page teach me how to engage every promise you made you made to me... And my journey begins with two words-- I Believe

I tried and tried to see I know that God was guiding me And my journey Begins With two words I BELIEVE

3. MAKE ME AN INSTRUMENT OF YOUR PEACE make me the music of the melody make me the base and make me the Fiddle Three part harmony make me the middle

4.QUOTATION MARKS we lie here in the dark like two quotation marks... --And times a broken cup the more it spills the more we fill it up and you taught me there's no limit To a love when your're standing in it And when you breathe, I breathe... and we're wrapped in this rhythm \ like light thru a prism Larry can you just send- retype a simple one page without the back ground.- or any of the blurbs- she will not be recording born again american- so whateevr fits on the one first page - as long as it has the address and info ill be finei love the very last paragrapg

that maybe can be on top in ital- you can find this on the very end --it reads...
