The vehicles were then both driven away. 31/03/2019 082-Manor Rd, Stockton Caravan broken into and cushions stolen. Wheels also removed. The team were in Long Itchington for free property marking in connection with the 01/04/2019 119-Church Rd, Long Itchington supported village scheme in South Driver assaulted whilst leaving vehicle and keys taken. The van was Warwickshire (15/04/2019). then stolen. 01/04/2019 081-Gaydon Rd, Bishops Itchington Garage door forced and approx. £1000 worth of tools stolen. 08/04/2019 098-Coventry Rd, Southam China elephant garden ornament, on doorstep, smashed 09/04/2019 105-Marlow Gre, Bishops Itchington Windows smashed in an attempt to gain entry, but intruders were confronted. Raced off in a silver VW Tiguan.. 10/04/2019 232-Warwick Rd, Southam MORE INFO. Windows smashed, untidy search. Computer and cash stolen. Two sets of car keys stolen but vehicle, with a steering lock, was not stolen. 11/04/2019 095- Holt Rd, Southam Caravan stolen from storage area. 12/04/2019 140-Fenny Compton Van entered by unknown means and a quantity of power tools stolen. 12/04/2019 049-Rugby Rd, Stockton Forcible entry to yard area and a green/yellow John Deere tractor stolen, without keys. CCTV available. 13/04/2019 246-Holt Rd, Southam Caravan broken into and items taken. 13/04/2019 070-Bishops Itchington A new John Deere mower and a metal tool box, with tools, stolen from an external workshop. 13/04/2019 121-Warwick Rd, Southam Driver’s door, of a vehicle parked on the drive, scratched. 17/04/2019 223-Hartshorne Rd, Bishops Itchington CCTV showed a white male removing a parcel from doorstep. Left in a black VW Passatt. 17/04/2019 117-Welsh Rd, Southam Entry gained into a compound and copper cabling stolen. Locks to storage containers cut but nothing stolen. 19/04/2019 133-Leamington Rd, Long Itchington Vehicle entered by unknown means. Untidy search made and items discarded but nothing stolen. 19/04/2019 243-Avon Dassett Heavy safe taken from property. No sign of break in. 20/04/2019 180– Southam Rd, Long Itchington Between 2200hrs 19/04 and 0600hrs 20/04 outdoor garden furniture stolen. 23/04/2019 23/16610/19-Kineton Rd Industrial Est. CCTV captured blue and white flat bed van arriving and two males kicking open main gates and using tools to access storage containers. 23/04/2019 23/16685/19-Daventry Rd, Southam Between 1800hrs 19/4 and 1800hrs 22/4 offenders have shot a ball bearing which has damaged a window at the front of the property. 24/04/2019 23/16826/19-Snowford Hill, Long Itchington Offenders have used tools to force an outhouse and a window at the property. Once inside, offenders have made an untidy search and damaged an internal door. 24/04/2019 23/16832/19-Stockton Rd, Long Itchington 2 concrete statues of lions, situated either side of the front door, stolen. Nothing seen or heard. 24/04/2019 23/16882/19-Station Rd, Southam Secure and unattended vehicle that was parked in the yard area of the stated location stolen by unknown means. 24/04/2019 23/16908/19-Stonebridge Ln, Long Itchington Access gained to property and a Black & Decker workbench stolen. A number of other items were stacked next to the exterior wall adjacent to the road, clearly for the intention of coming back at a later time to collect. 25/04/2019 23/17035/19-Tomlow Rd, Stockton Between Wed 24/04/2019 2130hrs and Thu 25/04/2019 0730hrs intruders have cut through a lock securing a gate which gives access to a drive leading to a yard on a farm. They entered the yard and stole a Lunar Clubman caravan which was being stored there. Offender/s made off from the scene in an unknown direction. 26/04/2019 23/17125/19-Long Itchington CofE Primary School, Long Itchington Between Tue 23/04/2019 1730hrs and Fri 26/04/2019 0800hrs Offenders have entered a wooden shed by smashing through the doors and removed a number of packets of crisps. They have also removed felt from another shed roof and thrown this on the floor and finally, removed tiles from the roof and smashed them on the ground. Click here for more information .

Intensification of grazing regimes, an increase in pesticide use, loss of biodiverse field margins and hedgerows, the trend towards sterile monoculture, insensitive development and the sprawl of towns and cities are the main factors in this. I agree with the need for a comprehensive Bee Action Plan led by the UK Government in order to counteract these causes of decline, as called for by Friends of the Earth.

Shuckburgh Hall and Deer Park is not currently open to the public and has remained a family home and seat of the Shuckburgh family for over 1000 years. The Hall is a Grade II* manor house, set in a Deer Park with the 14th century St John the Baptist in the Wilderness Church. The Estate comprises 2,500 acres of mixed farmland comprising 8 let farms and buildings, 24 Estate cottages, together with 150 acres of woodland. Shuckburgh Hall and the Church also house a collection of historic works of art. Sir James recently succeeded his father, Sir Rupert Shuckburgh, 13th Baronet and the grounds now host a variety of events. Inheritance Tax has been burdensome and to take the Estate forward, the Trustees have applied for conditional exemption and have prepared a Heritage Management Plan.
