The winners for each category are the most voted stars by the online community in the Yahoo! Poll that will run until tomorrow, Thursday, June 28. Primetime king Dingdong Dantes is leading the pack of Kapuso nominees for the Actor of the Year category while Kapuso royalty Marian Rivera and Makapiling Kang Muli lead actress Carla Abellana are both nominated for the Actress of the Year category. Alluring stars Marian Rivera and Bubble Gang comedienne Sam Pinto are nominees for the Celebrity of the Year, while Kap’s Amazing Storieshost Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. contends for the Celebrity with Major Impact award. On and off-screen sweethearts Dingdong and Marian are also nominated in the IT Couple of the Year category. Meanwhile, the captivating duo of Elmo Magalona and Julie Anne San Jose and young flick Jake Vargas and Bea Binene are nominated for the Love Team of the Year category. Elmo and Julie Ann, the lead cast of the newest Sunday afternoon show Together Forever are also nominated for the Male and Female Singer of the Year categories. They are also set to star in the romantic flick Just One Summer, set to be released this August.Aside from the stars, fan clubs are also contenders in the Yahoo! OMG! Awards. Luna Blanca youngster and lead actress Mona Lousie Rey, who was first known via the hit family primetime drama Munting Heredera, competes for the Child Star of the Year award. Isa si Regine sa magiging host ng newest magazine show ng GMA Network na H.O.T. TV (Hindi Ordinaryong Tsismis), together with Raymond Gutierrez, Jennylyn Mercado and Roderick Paulate. Bagamat nakasama ng Kapuso actress-singer ang kanyang mga co-hosts sa iba’t ibang pagkakataon, ngayon lamang niya makakatrabaho sina Jen, Raymond at Roderick sa isang magazine talk show. “Oo nakakasama ko sila, pero si Jen kumakanta lang kami. Si Mond, nagkakakwentuhan kami sa Party Pilipinas at si Kuya Dick naman nage- guest ako sa show niya noon. Dati pa ‘yon noong 90’s, so it’s very exciting to be part of this show. Mahilig akong mang-spoil kaya minsan alam niyang kayang-kaya niya ako,” says Dennis referring to his son.
