Rules and Conditions of Entry Please Note: Your signature on the entry form will be deemed to be an acceptance of these Rules and Condition of Entry. Please ensure you read them fully and carefully. CHIDDINGFOLD

1. When mounted, riders must wear hard hats conforming to the Pony Club rules for 2018. Pony club members Branch of the Pony Club please bring your hat with you to collect your number. It will be checked. No hat, no number! Hopefully your hat has already been tagged by your own branch or centre. 2. Show jumping classes run under Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2018. 3. For all other classes, the Pony Club standards for tack and turnout apply. 4. On day of show, ponies may only be ridden by riders competing in the show. 5. No lunging in the warm-up arenas or lorry park. 6. Dogs must be kept on short leads at all times. 7. Do not drop litter – use the bins provided. 8. Do not muck out your lorry / trailer onto the showground. Take your hay and muck home please. 9. In the event of cancellation of show, entry fees will be refunded, less £3, on receipt of an SAE. 10. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without giving reason, cancel or alter the classes and times. 11. The organiser’s decision is final in all matters. Any objection must be made in writing within 30 minutes of the results being announced and be accompanied by a deposit of £10. OPEN JUNIOR SHOW 12. No pony may be entered more than once in any class other than the Clear Round jumping and No pony may compete in more than 3 jumping classes. Incorporating Team Show Jumping 13. Riders in lead rein classes may not compete off lead in non-lead rein classes. Lead reins to be attached to the noseband only. SUNDAY 27th MAY 2018

14. When outside show rings and warm-up areas ponies must be ridden only at walk. Organisers reserve the

right to eliminate any rider who breaks this rule or is seen to ride dangerously. Open to Members and Non-members 14 years & under 15. All cups, trophies and shields are held for one year only and winners’ parents must sign for them at the Secretary’s tent. Any loss or damage must be paid for. It is the responsibility of the cup winner to return Ponies 15.2hh & under cups in good time. at 16. The organisers reserve the right to measure any pony that, in their opinion, appears to exceed the 15.2hh Eashing Farm, Eashing Lane, height limit. 17. All class times are approximate and are given as a guide only. The organisers will endeavour to keep to time by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Peter Stovold but it is the responsibility of competitors to appear for classes when required. 18. Competitors may be allowed to leave a class temporarily to compete in other classes at the judge’s

discretion. 19. Horses/Ponies must NOT be left unattended when tied up to lorries/trailers. 20. Rude or offensive language or behaviour will not be tolerated. Misuse of whip, spurs or bit will be deemed offensive behaviour and the competitor will be eliminated from the whole competition. 21. INSURANCE: All non Pony Club competitors/spectators are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The organising Branch and the committee of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you. 22. LEGAL LIABILITY : Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organisers, or anyone Organiser and Entries:.
