______In the One Hundred and Ninety-Second General Court (2021-2022) ______

An Act relative to prevailing wages.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 SECTION 1. Section 26 of Chapter 149 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014

2 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after words "pension plans", in line 46, the

3 following:- ", bona fide apprenticeship and training programs approved by the commonwealth

4 which comply with the requirements of Sections 11E to 11L, inclusive, of Chapter 23 of the

5 General Laws,".

6 SECTION 2. Section 27 of Chapter 149 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby

7 amended by inserting after the words "pension plans", in line 44, the following: ", bona fide

8 apprenticeship and training programs approved by the commonwealth which comply with the

9 requirements of sections 11E to 11L, inclusive, of Chapter 23 of the General Laws,".

1 of 3 10 SECTION 3. Said section 27 of Chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by

11 inserting after the words "pension plan" the following:- ", a bona fide apprenticeship and training

12 program approved by the commonwealth which comply with the requirements of sections 11E to

13 11L, inclusive, of Chapter 23 of the General Laws,".

14 SECTION 4. Said section 27 of Chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by

15 inserting after the words "health and welfare funds", in line 54, the following:- ", bona fide

16 apprenticeship and training programs approved by the commonwealth which comply with the

17 requirements of sections 11E to 11L, inclusive, of Chapter 23 of the General Laws,".

18 SECTION 5. Said section 27 of Chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by

19 inserting after the words " welfare funds", in lines 60 to 61, the following:- ", bona fide

20 apprenticeship and training programs approved by the commonwealth which comply with the

21 requirements of sections 11E to 11L, inclusive, of Chapter 23 of the General Laws".

22 SECTION 6. Said section 27 of Chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by

23 inserting after the words " welfare funds", in line 74, the following:- ", bona fide apprenticeship

24 and training programs approved by the commonwealth which comply with the requirements of

25 sections 11E to 11L, inclusive, of Chapter 23 of the General Laws,".

26 SECTION 7. Said section 27 of Chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by

27 inserting after the words "welfare funds", in line 80, the following:- ", bona fide apprenticeship

28 and training programs approved by the commonwealth which comply with the requirements of

29 sections 11E to 11L, inclusive, of Chapter 23 of the General Laws".

30 SECTION 8. Said section 27 of Chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by

31 inserting after the words "welfare funds", in line 90, the following:- ", bona fide apprenticeship

33 sections 1B to 11L, inclusive, of Chapter 23 of the General Laws".
