Shetland Livestock Marketing Group in conjunction with Aberdeen & Northern Marts had forward and sold 3083 store sheep comprising 2883 store lambs and 200 ewes. Quality was good with trade being very steady. More Suffolk cross and Texel cross lambs could have been sold easily. Fleshy Shetland lambs were sought after and again more quality ones could have been sold.
