MARLINS SET to HOST PHILLIES, CARDINALS Homestand to Feature Cirque Dreams As Part of Super Saturday Concert Series MARLINS SET TO HOST PHILLIES, CARDINALS Homestand to Feature Cirque Dreams as part of Super Saturday Concert Series MIAMI –The Florida Marlins are set to host the Philadelphia Phillies (August 3-5) and the St. Louis Cardinals (August 6-August 8) at Sun Life Stadium. The six-game homestand will feature fan giveaways, including: Andre Dawson Hall of Fame Plaque courtesy of Supercuts as part of Billy Bingo (August 6), Marlins Samba Whistle courtesy of New Era Cap (August 7) and Marlins Catcher’s Book Bag presented by AT&T (August 8). The homestand will also feature several special events, including: Jiffy Lube Fiesta Friday on August 6, Baker Concrete Super Saturday featuring Cirque Dreams (August 7) and Marlins Family Sunday on August 8. Starting Tuesday, August 3, the Marlins kick off the homestand against the Philadelphia Phillies. First pitch is set for 7:10 P.M. at Sun Life Stadium. Fans can look in the Tuesday edition of The Miami Herald for the Herald Two for Tuesday coupon and get two-for-one Bullpen Box tickets. Also fans can take advantage of the Back to School Promotion presented by MLB and the Florida Marlins, where fans can get an official MLB backpack when they purchase $125 or more at the Stadium Team Store or the Marlins en Miami Store. Promotion is available from August 3 to September 5, or while supplies last. On Wednesday, August 4 fans are encouraged to take advantage of the $7.90 Infield Box Ticket Promotion, where fans can purchase infield box tickets for $7.90 online at marlins.com. The series will conclude on Thursday, August 5 at 7:10pm. The homestand will continue on August 6 with a Jiffy Lube Fiesta Friday against the St. Louis Cardinals. It will be Andre Dawson Night at the ballpark and fans are encouraged to arrive early for a special pregame ceremony with “The Hawk” as we celebrate his career and recent Hall of Fame induction. Fans can get the Marlins 4 for $54 package, featuring 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas and 2 Marlins game day programs starting at $54. Also, 2,500 fans will win an Andre Dawson Hall of Fame Plaque as part of Billy Bingo courtesy of Supercuts. Fans can also purchase Marlins All You Can Eat Seats and stay after the game for the 10th Inning Party at the Strike Zone. The series against the Cardinals continues on Saturday, August 7 at 7:10 P.M. with Baker Concrete Super Saturday. This Saturday will be headlined by a post-game on-field spectacular featuring Cirque Dreams following a fireworks show. Also, the first 15,000 fans will receive a Marlins Samba Whistle courtesy of New Era Cap. The homestand concludes with Marlins Family Sunday on August 8 at 1:10 P.M. Fans are invited to join the pre-game activities at the Strike Zone including games and activities from Radio Disney and fans can take pictures with a Marlins player. In addition, the first 5,000 kids will receive a Marlins Catcher Book Bag presented by AT&T and kids get to run the bases in the Diamond Dash after the game. U.S. military staff can also take advantage of the Stars and Stripes ticket program and receive complementary tickets.     Communications Status Report for Areas Impacted by Hurricane Irma September 12, 2017 The following is a report on the status of communications services in geographic areas impacted by Hurricane Irma as of September 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM EDT. This report incorporates network outage data submitted by communications providers to the Federal Communications Commission’s Disaster Information Reporting System (DIRS). DIRS is currently activated for all areas of Florida, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and parts of Georgia and Alabama. Note that the operational status of communications services during a disaster may evolve rapidly, and this report represents a snapshot in time. It should also be noted that not all communications providers have reported in DIRS, so some outage information may not be complete. The following counties are in the geographic area that was covered by the DIRS activation as of this morning (the “disaster area”).
