The Broncos’ 52 points scored against the Eagles were the most in team historry, breaking the previous team mark of 50 points scored against San Diego on Oct. 6, 1963. Denver was aided by a 21‐point outburst in the third quarter in which the offense racked up 18 first downs and 214 yards without a third‐down attempt.

MANNING SETS NEW RECORDS

Broncos QB Peyton Manning, who completed 28‐of‐34 passes (82.4%) for 327 yards with four touchdowns (146.0 rtg.), passed QB Brett Favre for the most four‐touchdown games (24) in NFL history. Manning also recorded his 16th passing touchdown of the season without an interception, tying Cleveland QB Milt Plum for the most passing scores in a season before throwing an interception. Manning’s current streak of 201 consecutive passes without an interception—dating to last year—represents the longest such streak of his career and the second‐longest streak in team history.

Broncos WR Trindon Holliday recorded a 105‐yard kickoff return for touchdown in the first quarter to tie his own record for the longest such play in team history. The play marked the sixth special‐teams return score (postseason included) since he was acquired by the Broncos last season off waivers from Houston. He now trails only Rick Upchurch (8) for the most career special‐teams returns in team annals.
