During this trip we will visit the main places of interest, from landscapes to cultural ones, of Patagonia. We will navigate through its fjords and visit, among many other things, Glacier Perito Moreno, Torres of Paine, unique landscapes that this part of the planet offers us.

We will discover its life, its culture and its Patagonian gastronomy. We will get to know its touristic areas but also its more unexplored corners.

We will live, during 14 days, all the peculiarities of its daily life. Very different from other parts of Chile and Argentina.

Arrival at the city of Osorno.

We can visit the city during the day and enjoy its cuisine.

In the evening there will be a Welcome Dinner where we will talk about the trip and it will be an opportunity to get to know each other.

Rest until the next day. DAY 2 Osorno – Chaitén (346 km)

This first day we will sail through the Chilean fjords.

We will leave Osorno passing through , where we will continue along the southern road to Caleta La Arena. At this point we will sail the Reloncaví estuary on a sea route that will offer us a wonderful landscape at the entrance of this Chilean fjord.

We will continue enjoying the landscape until we reach Hornopirén, where we will get back on another boat to sail through the Comau fjord.

Halfway through the afternoon we will arrive at our destination, Chaitén, in the Los Lagos region.

And to end the day, we will have time to relax enjoying a thermal bath until dinner time. DAY 3 Chaitén - Puyuhuapi (190 km)

A day with a short route where we will have time to visit many of the places where we will pass. First we will visit Lake Yelcho and a few kilometers further on, the Rosselot Lake National Reserve. Prepare your photo cameras.

We will arrive at the idyllic little village of Puyuhuapi past noon and we will have the opportunity to visit the Queulat National Park, where we will make a small excursion to the Hanging Glacier. From its viewpoint we will see an enormous concentration of ice and its waterfalls that slide between the mountain ranges.

A perfect day to enjoy the fabulous surroundings. DAY 4 Puyuhuapi – Coyhaique (233 km)

Waking up among lush mountains in a silent place in Patagonia is something that is really enjoyable.

After a good breakfast we will continue to Coyhaique, the capital of the Aysén Region.

Along the way we will enjoy a unique environment of rivers, lakes and mountains. A true adventure on wheels.

We will visit Puerto Aysén and its surroundings, and later in the afternoon we will settle in the hotel in Coyhaique with enough time to visit the city and have dinner. DAY 5 Coyhaique – Chile Chico (381 km)

Good local breakfast and we will start the trip again.

This day we will arrive at Puerto Río Tranquilo and we will know first hand the famous General Carrera Lake, the second largest lake in .

We will visit with a motorboat its spectacular Marble Cathedral, a formation composed of rocks of white and ivory tones. An interesting activity before continuing to Chile Chico.

We will arrive at the hotel, very close to the border with Argentina, to spend the night and to cross the next day to the neighboring country. DAY 6 Chile Chico – Calafate (696 km)

This stage will become the longest of the trip until you reach Calafate.

We will cross the border from Chile to Argentina and will cross the famous Ruta 40 all day, a true myth for a traveler, making stops at different strategic points of the route.

Afternoon arrival we will arrive to Calafate and we will settle in the hotel.

Time to rest, visit the area and have dinner. DAY 7 Calafate – Free day

In every trip it is necessary to have a rest day and what better than in Calafate, national capital of the glaciers.

The day will bring us something extraordinary, we will have the whole day to visit the Perito Moreno glacier and observe it until we get tired. We will have the possibility of doing a mini trekking through its turquoise blue ice.

In the afternoon, time to visit the area at the whim of each one, the Argentinean Lake and its amphitheater, some of its museums, or many other activities offered by this Argentinean tourist spot. DAY 8 Calafate – Puerto Natales (272 km)

On this day we will reach the southernmost part of the trip, Puerto Natales. An incredible journey and in which we will cross again to Chile.

From the border not far away, we reach our destination of the day, where we will relax with time also to visit the city (Mirador Dorotea, Historical Museum, monument of the Hand, etc). DAY 9 Puerto Natales – Free day

When you visit Patagonia there is a place you can’t miss and a must see, the Torres del Paine.

In the morning we will head towards the National Park where we will first visit the Milodón cave, of an incalculable anthropological value, where it is believed that the primitive men of Patagonia lived.

We will visit Cerro Castillo and we will enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of the Paine massif, among examples of red foxes and condors.

We will visit the Nordenskjold and Pehoé lakes, and the Salto Grande after a 10- minute walk, and finally we will have the opportunity to photograph the impressive icebergs of the Gray Glacier. DAY 10 Puerto Natales – Chaltén (421 km)

Being in the cone of the Patagonia we will now undertake the march towards the north until El Chaltén, a town surrounded by an incomparable natural beauty.

Know the Chorrillo del Salto, a waterfall that will allow us to enjoy the attraction of its unique nature. DAY 11 Chaltén – Perito Moreno (586 km)

A long day to feel like true travelers.

In the afternoon we will arrive at the small town of Perito Moreno, known for its cave paintings.

We will rest in this quiet village to continue the next day to Esquel, already in the province of Chubut. DAY 12 Perito Moreno – Esquel (538 km)

In this section we will cross the plateau between Perito Moreno and Río Mayo, and we will continue along the valleys the trace of the old raked tehuelches.

Route 40 will allow us to taste the lonely Patagonia, with its relentless winds that originate a unique landscape, and where we will live its unsettling solitude. DAY 13 Esquel – Bariloche (284 km)

The well-known city of San Carlos de Bariloche awaits us.

In a comfortable day of a few kilometers, we will arrive at this city on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi, in the National Park of the same name.

If our plans permit it, we can stop to eat at El Bolsón, a magical town in Patagonia.

We will have all afternoon to enjoy the city and its gastronomy at our leisure. DAY 14 Bariloche – Osorno (244 km)

Last day of travel.

We will say goodbye to Argentina to cross the border to Chile. A day in which we will cross the and that will allow us to fill our cameras with memories.

In the middle of afternoon we will arrive at Osorno with its volcano escorting us.
