Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Gujranwala BOARD OF INTERMEDIATE AND SECONDARY EDUCATION GUJRANWALA SECONDARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATION, 2020 P(2) BOARD OF INTERMEDIATE AND SECONDARY EDUCATION GUJRANWALA SECONDARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATION, 2020 RESULT NOTIFICATION PROCLAMATION NOTIFICATION NO. 723-C.E/P INTRODUCTION The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Gujranwala was established in October 1982 (under the Punjab Boards of Intermediate & Secondary Education Act 1976) with its jurisdiction over six districts i.e. Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal and Hafizabad. The Secondary School (Supplementary) Examination,2020 commenced on 07-11-2020. The theory papers ended on 17-11-2020. The total No. of candidates applied for admission to this Examination is 19312. The result is being declared on 15-12-2020. 1. PROCLAMATION (i) This Result Gazette is issued as a notice only. Errors and Omissions are acceptable. An entry appearing herein does not independently confer any right or privilege to the candidates for the grant of a certificate which will be issued in due course of time and under the regulations. (ii) The result of all candidates whether successful or otherwise is being published for convenience of all concerned. (iii) The numerical figures given in the result column show the marks obtained by the successful candidate while the abbreviations show the subjects in which the candidate is fail or any other position of the result. (iv) The total number of marks obtained by the successful candidates have been shown against their Roll Numbers and Names in the Result Gazette. 2. CANCELLED ROLL NUMBERS The un-allotted roll numbers have been cancelled. Similarly the Roll Numbers of those candidates who were found in-eligible for any other reason have also been cancelled. 3. CHANCE TO REAPPEAR Those candidates:- (i) Who appeared in the Secondary School (Supplementary) Examination 2020 in full subjects shall have to appear in failing subjects till Secondary School (Annual) Examination,2022 . (ii) Who appeared in the Secondary School Annual Examination 2020 in full subjects shall have to appear till Secondary School Supplementary Examination,2021 . (iii) Who appeared in supplementary Examination 2020 as a regular student, their last chance will be Annual Examination, 2022. 4. RESULT LATERS CASES This time, through successful efforts result later cases have been brought to nil. However some results are pending of those who inspite of repeated reminders have failed to remove discrepancies but responsibility lie on such candidate, in respect of:- i. Non-adjustment of fee accounts ii. Non-determination of their eligibility. iii. Any other discrepancy already intimated to them. All such candidates are advised in their own interest to deposit the arrears of fee, if any and to comply with other requirements already intimated without further delay, otherwise the office would not be able to release result intimations. P(3) BOARD OF INTERMEDIATE AND SECONDARY EDUCATION GUJRANWALA SECONDARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATION, 2020 5. SUBMISSION OF ADMISSION FORMS The secondary school Annual Examination 2021 is scheduled to be held on 15-12-2020, the candidates who appeared in the Supplementary Examination, 2020 are allowed to reappear. The schedule for submission of admission forms is as under. Single Fee:16-11-2020 To 20-01-2021 Double Fee:21-01-2021 To 01-02-2021 Triple Fee:02-02-2021 To 12-02-2021 6. CONCESSION Candidates failing in any subject to qualify for the grant of the Secondary School Certificates for grant of not more than one percent of the total number of marks allotted to the relevant group have been given the benefit for requisite number of marks in the subjects in which they have failed so as to enable them just to qualify for the grant of certificate but these marks have not been physically added in the marks obtained by the candidates in the said subjects or the aggregate. Thus the aggregate shown in the result card is the real total of the actual marks obtained by the candidates exclusive of the grace marks. 7. RESULT INTIMATION i. Result intimations to the successful and failed regular/private candidates have been dispatched to them under registered cover. No duplicate intimation card/certificate will be issued except on an application made on the prescribed form and a fee i.e. Rs. 1000 deposited for this purpose. ii. Original Certificates to the successful regular candidates will be sent in due course of time to their respective institutions.
