Pench National Park, nestling in the lower southern reaches of the satpuda hills is named after Pench river, meandering through the park from north to south. It is located on the southern boundary of , bordering , in the districts of Seoni and ., comprising 758 km2, out of which a core area of 299 km2 of Indira Priyadarshini Pench National Park and the Mowgli Pench Sanctuary and remaining 464 km2 of pench national park is the buffer area. The area of the present tiger reserve has a glorious history. A description of its natural wealth and richness occurs in Ain-i-Akbari. and its neighbourhood is the original setting of Rudyard Kipling's most famous work, The Jungle Book. Pench National Park is situated to the south of Satpura Hills. It is named so after the name of the river Pench which flows through this area. This is the 19th project tiger reserve in and was declared so in 1992. It has tropical moist deciduous forest. The Pench National Park is located in Southern Madhya Pradesh in India, about 70 km from the city of . Spread over an area of 275 km² 90% of area is in the neighboring state of Madhya Pradesh rest 10% in Maharashtra. The park has a significant population of Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, the sloth bear, Barasingha and Indian wild dog. There are over 285 species of resident and migratory birds including the Malabar Pied Hornbill, Indian Pitta, Osprey, Grey-headed Fishing Eagle, White-eyed Buzzard, etc. In winter thousands of migratory waterfowl including Brahmini Duck, Pochards, Barheaded Geese, Coots, etc visit the tanks and the Pench reservoir within the Park. Also you can see endangered bird species like vultures white-rumped, longbilled, white scavenger and king vulture can be seen in good numbers in the Reserve. The other fauna present include 50 species of fishes, 10 amphibians, 30 reptiles, 45 butterflies, 54 moths and numerous other insects. The forest is mixed and given the high rainfall precipitation one finds extensive stretches of Sal (Shorea robusta), Ain or Saja (Terminalia crenulata), Arjun (Terminalia arjuna), Terminalia chibula and Terminalia bellarica, Dhaoda (Anogeisis latifolia), Labernum or Amaltas (Cassia fistula), Flame of the forest or Palas (Butea frondosa), Huge trees of Baja (Pterocarpus marsupium) & Haldu (Adena cardifolia) Mango (Mangifera indica) Jamun or Black plum (Syzigium cumini), Bamboo thickets (Dendrocalamus strictus) are commonly found, tall luxurian tree, Mahuwa (Madhuca Indica). The park lies within the tropical monsoon climatic zone, characterized by well-defined winters, summers and rains. Temperature as low as 2.2 °C and as high as 44 °C have been recorded. Average rainfall is 1,173 millimeters (46 in), most of which falls during the monsoons. Some rains result from the cyclonic depressions as well, between the months of November and February.

We will reach Nagpur Rly. Stn. at 09:30 hrs. After breakfast we will proceed for Pench National Park at around 10:30 hrs. Reach Pench at around 12:30 hrs, check into the hotel and after lunch we will take our First Jungle Safari by Gypsy. We have a chance to see the most beautiful animal on this planet ‘Tiger’. Leopard, Spotted Deer, Blue Bull, Jackal, Wild Boar, Sambar Deer are the animals which can also be sighted. The bird species like Vultures, Eagles, Peacocks, Owls, Flycatchers add to the beauty of the jungle. Come back to Resort at around 6:00 pm. Share your experiences and photographs with others. Take Dinner at 09:00 pm and go to Bed. Night stay at Resort in Pench. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 3 : Pench :-

Early in the morning we will take our Second Jungle Safari by Gypsy. Come back to Resort at around 10:00 am. Share your experiences and photographs with others. After lunch we will take our Third Jungle Safari by Gypsy. Come back to Resort at around 18:30 hrs. Share your experiences and photographs with others. Night stay at Resort in Pench. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 4 : Pench – Nagpur :- ( 92 kms. 2 hrs.)

Early in the morning we will take our Forth Jungle Safari by Gypsy. Come back to Resort at around 11:00 am. After Lunch: At around 13:00 hrs., we will transfer you to Nagpur Rly. Stn. to board a train to Pune (Garibrath Exp.) at 18:30 hrs. Overnight Journey. (Breakfast and Lunch Included.)

Day 5 : Pune

Arrive Pune at 09:45 hrs. (No Food Included)
