Jalgaon NAAC Re-accredited with “B” Grade Institutional Distinctiveness 2018-19 Vision of Institute Our institutional vision for growing minds is, “To be a dedicated educational institution that prepares learners from rural backgrounds for productive careers by providing them with a student-centered practically beneficial quality learning experience.” By taking into account the visionary words, Our College endeavours to nurture future leaders. Towards this goal, various committees in the college initiated programmes to ingrain innovations and progressiveness among the student community. ‘Job creators and not Job seekers’ is the motto of the Student Development Cell at College. The events organised by the Student Development Centre aim at nurturing young, aspiring entrepreneurs or can acquire good civil duties. 1. In the academic session 2018-19, by SDC, Employment registration camp were organised in which 500 students has registered for job at free of cost. 2. Income certificate distribution programme in collaboration with Bodwad Tehsil Office was also organised. 3. Events at our College like Workshop on “Electing democracy and governance, and EVM training workshop are also aimed at nurturing socially responsible leaders. 4. Outreach programmes like NSS winter camp, Collections of Kerala Relief fund, street plays on burning issues are also conducted to move students towards socially challenged issue. 5. Various educational and eco-friendly projects by students for University level Avishkar Competition, and interesting science motivational programme were conducted. 6. Our Science faculty organises Research Methodology workshop for PG students every year to promote good research culture among students. 7. The sports department are also working actively for making young generation to participate in various university/ state /national level events, our 05 students were selected for higher level in zonal Kho-kho and Wrestling events. 8. Our institution also working enthusiastically in organising national/state/university level events like State level workshop on “Rural Women : Health and security” with collaboration of Maharashtra state Women commission, Mumbai and 9. 30th National Conference of Maharashtra State Commerce Association with Huge response of 348 participants and publishing 259 research papers in UGC Listed Approved “Research Journey Multidisciplinary International Journal” Evidences of Programs 1. Name of Programme - Income Certificate Distribution Organized by- Student Development Cell Arts, Commerce and Science College, Bodwad and Tehsil Office Bodwad, jointly organized Income distribution to the students in the College. The Principal of the college Dr. Arvind Chaudhari was the chairman of the income certificate distribution program, while the tehsildar of Bodwad taluka Shri Ravindra Jogi, deputy tehsildar Shri. Wadile were present as chief guest. On this occasion about 78 students were given income certificates for the academic year 2018-19. Student Development Officer Mr. Narendra Joshi, Dr. V. P. Chaudhary and Dr. Geeta Patil made this program a success by implementing this project. On this occasion, the principle of minimum government and maximum service is benefiting the actual students, said Principal Arvind Chaudhari. Mr. Ravindra Jogi expressed the expectation that the students will also be helped by the government. The Programme was hosted by Dr. P.S. Mahale and Mr. Narendra Joshi expressed vote of thanks. 2. Name of Programme - "Special Winter Camp- 2018-19" Organized by- National Service Scheme National Service Scheme unit of the college organized Special Winter Camp at the adopted Village Harankhed, Tal. Bodwad, for the academic year 2018-19. It was held from 24.12.2018 to 30.12.2018. The Camp Inaugurated on 24.12.2018 at 11: 00 AM. by the auspicious hand Minorities and Divyang Students, Kundan Kharat. The ceremony was presided over by Hon. Mr. Vikasbhau Kotecha, with the Sarpanch of the village Shrimati Samita Rupesh Gandhi, Deputy Panch Shri. Narhari Eknath Varade, Shri. Rupesh Gandhi, School Teacher, Director of the Institute, Shri Shrirambhau Badgujar, Shri Ashokji Jain, Shri Anandji Jaiswal, and Shri. Ravindraji draji Mate were the chief guests. After the inaugural program, the volunteers participating in the rally conducted an educational and health survey of Harankhed village and learned about the problems of the village and planned the work to be done in the rally. After that Dr. V. P. Chaudhary guided the volunteers on the theme of Village Hygiene Education, Health Care. In the evening, an ice breaking game is organized to introduce all the volunteers to each other. Also in the evening, volunteers take a look at the cleanliness of the village. Every day from Tuesday, 25.12.2018, from 5 to 6 in the morning, Yoga Guru Shri. Shekharsing Chauhan imparted training to the volunteers for Yoga-Pranayama and Exercise. After praying, chanting and meditating, for the construction of Nimkhedi road in the village, Lashlabarathi removed the dyke with the help of carrots, thorn bushes and some volunteers. Also, some volunteers dig and remove soil. so on the first day, the volunteers work hard and do physical work. In the afternoon session, Prof. Ishwar Mhasikekar shared with the volunteers, how to prepare for the competitive examination and how to achieve success in it. Volunteers also performed street plays on hygiene, save daughter, teach daughter, disaster management. From 5 to 6 in the evening, the volunteers conveyed the importance and message of cleanliness to the villagers. A cultural program was organized at 8 pm. 9.00 pm Review the full day and write a report. Wednesday, On 26.12.2018, after regular exercise, a running competition was held. After tea and breakfast, all volunteers get ready for Shramdan. and done for the construction of the dam. The work of labour is completed by raising the foundation to the level of the land to be built. After that, Dr. Ratna Jawaras guided the volunteers on the topic of 'Save Daughter, Teach Daughter' and organized a group discussion on the topic of 'women Empowerment '. Dr. A. R. Sawale visited to camp and guided the volunteers on the issue of farmers. In the evening, the volunteers get ready for the village clean. In the cultural program, street plays are presented as per the instructions given by the Central and State Governments. 9.00 pm Review the report throughout the day. On Thursday, 27.12.2018, after the funeral procession, all the volunteers worked hard to increase the height of the building from 3 to 4 feet. Prof. Umariwad gave guidance on the National Right to Education Act and after that Prof. N. S. Joshi Caches guides on the modern subject of Net Banking. After the village clean-up was completed, a music chair was organized for the cultural program. On Friday, 28.12.2018, after the regular exercise again, the competition was held and all the volunteers went to the bund for labor. The work of the embankment is completed on this day. Volunteers did the work of increasing the height of the dam and lapping as well as removing the outlet of the dam. The embankment was constructed 7 to 8 feet high, 4 feet wide and 27 feet high from the container. In the afternoon session, the headmistress at Harankhed, Mrs. Madam Bonde briefed the volunteers on the topic of stress management. From 5 to 6 in the evening, the volunteers conveyed the importance and message of cleanliness to the villagers. A cultural program was organized at 8 pm. 9.00 pm Re view the full day and write a report. On Saturday, 29.12.2018, after a short meal, the villagers go to the temple and undertake the cleaning work of the temple, cemetery and the village. For this, three groups of volunteers are formed. One group went to clean the village and clean the village, the other group went to clean the school and the cemetery, while the other group went to clean the area around the ancient temple in the village. In the afternoon session, Professor Dr. N.S. Sharma, Jamner, guided the students on the topic of Environment and Health. From 5 to 6 in the evening, the volunteers conveyed the importance and message of cleanliness to the villagers. A cultural program was organized at 8 pm. 9.00 pm Review the report throughout the day. On Sunday, 30.12.2018, in the morning in the village, hygiene and save the daughter, teach the daughter, based on the various topics were taken out. On this occasion, various announcements based on various topics were made and street plays were presented. The closing ceremony is held after lunch in the afternoon session. The function was presided over by Shri Ajayji Jain, Vice President of the local organization, while the village Sarpanch Mrs. Salmata Rupesh Gandhi, Deputy Sarpanch Shri. Narhari Varade, Director of the Institute Shri. Shri Rambhau Badgujar, On this occasion, Nikhil Patil, Vaishahi Mali expressed his thoughts about the Camp. The entire seven-day work planned in the army was carried out as planned. With a view to make Camp success, the President of the Society, Shri Mithulalji Agrawal, the Vice President, Shri Ajayji Jain, the Secretary, Shri Vikas bhau Kotecha, Principal Arvind Chaudhari, Deputy Principal Prof. DS Patil guided And Program Officer Dr. CT Shamav, lady Program Officer Prof. Mrs. K.R. Damade, Assistant Program Officer Prof. N.P. Sawadekar and all the v volunteers took efforts to make the camp success. 3. Name of Programme - State Level seminar on "Rural Women: Health and Safety Awareness. State Level seminar on "Rural Women: Health and Safety Awareness" organised at Bodwad College. It was held on 13th October 2018. The theme of the seminar was "Rural Women: Health and Safety Awareness". The state level seminar was inaugurated by the Mayor of Jamner Municipal Council, Mrs. It was concluded by Sadhanatai Mahajan at 9.30 am.

Cordinates 21 01’12”N latitude and 75 054’36”E longitude small river Bhogavati flows through the town, although it is mostly dry for eight month of the year. Bhogavati later joins the Tapti River. The Hatnur dam which is located 11 Km. north on the river Tapti. Provides water to the Varangaon.The River Bhogavati divides town into two parts, on north old village and on south near highway new town.
