9.00am SHOWJUMPING (INCORPORATING DENGIE QUALIFYING CLASSES) Riders must be 25yrs and under. Ponies can only enter a maximum of two Show Jumping classes. CLASS 1 Wobbly Novice, jumps not exceeding 50cm in first round. Pony/rider combination not to have won a 1st at the equivalent height or above. PONY CLUB PONY In RING 2 to follow Tack & Turnout, commencing 10.30am Competitors to be judged on equitation and the suitability of horse or pony for pony club activities. Competitors may be asked to jump a small jump. To be ridden in a plain snaffle. Pony/rider combination can enter only one class in this section.

CLASS 19 Lead rein jumping 10yrs and under. Cross poles only. Leaders must be 14yrs or over. Riders in this class cannot jump in classes 1-5, 20 or 21. Trophy for highest placed Strathblane member. HORSE AND HOUND £3.00 on the gate. To commence approx 1.00pm after clear round jumping. Pony and rider to jump small course of fences, dismount and lead dog over a shortened course of fences.

RING 5.

EQUITATION To commence at 11am and will run for approx 2 hours – Riders from classes 24-26 to present at any time from 11am – 1pm Riders will be asked to present to the judge a short individual show, no longer than 1 ½ minutes. This class is marked based upon the rider and not the conformation of the pony/horse. Champion & Reserve based on highest marks over Classes 24-26

DRESSAGE ( INCORPORATING DENGIE QUALIFYING CLASSES)

CLASS 27 Pony Club D Level (walk & trot only) 2012 a basic test for riders 10yrs & under, who are new to dressage. For 2019, the Tullochan Trophy donated by Fiona Stuart will be awarded to the overall points winner, of whom is a Strathblane and District PC member. The winner will be decided using points accumulated from their highest showjumping and dressage results. The 2 highest placed in both the Junior (12 years and under) and Senior section will each win a lesson with Fiona. The trophy will be awarded to the competitor of whom has the highest points overall between the Junior and Senior section.

Many thanks to the family of Bill Honeyman for donating the Bill Honeyman Memorial Trophy in recognition of the huge contribution he made to Strathblane & District pony Club over the years.

RULES

 Only riders aged 25yrs and under on 1st Jan 2019 may compete in any class.  Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.  The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.  All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Strathblane & District Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.  A riding hat must be worn correctly fastened when mounted. Pony Club members must wear a hat that conforms with the Pony Club hat rule (Rule 14) and tagged with a Pony Club hat tag. Non-members are strongly advised to wear a riding hat that meets Pony Club standards.

 Horses and ponies must be 4 yrs and over.

 Dogs to be kept on leads at all times.

 No galloping on the field.

 Bad language will not be tolerated.

 The judges’ decision will be final.
