Erik Kratz homered twice as the RailRiders salvaged the series finale and finished their first six-game road trip 3-3. June 3 @ Buffalo - Game 1 L 4-2 (7) @ Buffalo - Game 2 W 9-2 (7) In the top of the second against opener Cole Sulser, Thairo Estrada singled and Tyler Wade worked an 11-pitch walk. With one out, Logan June 4 @ Buffalo L 5-4 Morrison singled in Estrada for the RailRiders first lead of the series. Erik Kratz walked to load the bases and Billy Burns followed with a June 5 @ Buffalo - Game 1 W 3-0 (7) sacrifice fly. Aaron Judge, playing his third game with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on an Allied Integrated Health Systems rehab assignment, @ Buffalo - Game 2 W 4-0 (7) singled to left-center to extend the RailRiders advantage to 3-0. Kratz drilled a 2-2 pitch off the top of the right field wall and into the seats, June 6 @ Buffalo L 3-2 extending the RailRiders lead to 4-2. It was his first home run during the catcher’s second stint with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. June 7 vs. Syracuse L 3-1 June 8 vs. Syracuse W 3-1 Durham threatened in the fifth, loading the bases to knock RailRiders starter Chance Adams out of the game. J.P. Feyereisen induced a June 9 vs. Syracuse - Game 1 W 7-5 (7) flyout from Scranton native Joe McCarthy to end the inning and preserve the lead. The Bulls put the tying run on against Feyereisen in the vs. Syracuse - Game 2 W 14-3 (7) seventh, but Danny Coulombe took over and struck out McCarty on three pitches to end the inning. June 11 @ Norfolk W 4-1 Kratz’s second home run of the game extended the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre lead to 7-2; a three-run drive to the right field seats with Wade June 12 @ Norfolk W 7-6 and Ryan McBroom on. Kratz entered without a hit over four games and seven at bats with the RailRiders this year but went 3-for-3 with June 13 @ Norfolk L 4-3 the two home runs, a single, a walk and four batted in on Sunday. June 27 vs. Buffalo - Game 1 5:05 PM RAILREHABBERS: It was announced early Friday afternoon that OF Giancarlo Stanton and OF Aaron Judge are both rehabbing with the vs. Buffalo - Game 2 TBA RailRiders and in the lineup beginning Friday night. In three rehab games this season with the Tampa Tarpons- including two earlier this June 28 @ Lehigh Valley 7:05 PM week- Stanton had gone 5-for-10 with 4 HR, 5 RBI and 3 K before homering in his second at-bat Friday night. It was outlined by Aaron Boone that Stanton is expected to complete his rehab assignment and rejoin the Yankees Tuesday. Judge, recovering from a strained oblique, had 2019 vs. norfolk not yet played in a rehab game before going 0-for-4 with 3 K Friday night in the first game on his road to recovery that will likely overlap with the start of the RailRiders homestand at PNC Field. Stanton and Judge join INF Didi Gregorius and OF Aaron Hicks on the list of overall head-to-head: 2-1 Yankees rehabbers for the RailRiders this season.
