The Yeshiva was founded with the principal of creating an atmosphere of individualized growth both in ruchnius, and appreciation of Torah study. The name Torah Ore is recognized across the globe as a true Makom Torah. ince its inception in the early 1960’s, under the tutelage of MaranS Hagaon Rav Chaim Pinchus Scheinberg shlita, Yeshivas Torah Ore has a reputation of attracting students from around the world, who are interested in immersing themselves in a serious Torah atmosphere in Eretz Yisroel away from the distractions of everyday life. The typical bochur is one who is self-motivated, and aspires to develop both his learning and analytical skills as well as striving to reach new heights in avodas hakodesh. The Torah Ore bochur doesn’t only want to be personally impacted, but is one who wants to share his passion for learning with others as well. RELATIONSHIPS o matter where one finds himself during the course of theN year, whether it is in the Beis Medresh, learning a piece of Gemara, in the dorm, on the basketball court, or even ice skating in the Canada Center, one cannot help but feel the sense of camaraderie that envelops him when he is with his family, the other bochrim of Yeshiva Torah Ore. The feeling of friendship that one receives is unparalleled, that bochrim from all over the United States and Canada can come together to spend the year with the same goals in mind creates an unbreakable bond. As one lays the corner stone and solidies his own foundation in avodas hashem he realizes that he is not alone. That together with the other bochrim, you come to the understanding that you are not only building your own personal spiritual skyscraper, but together you are building a RELATIONSHIPS community, you are extending the Torah Ore Family. At some point during the year you realize that the person you are speaking to is not only a chavrusa or a roommate, but he is a friend that will last a lifetime. RELATIONSHIPS he Yeshiva is the true melting pot where friendships are forged.T It is not only about connecting to your peers, but it is also forming a relationship with the hanhallah, your rebbeim, and ultimately Hashem. THE FAMILY he Yeshiva Torah Ore family doesn’t only reside on Rechov Sorotzkin,T it has its branches spread throughout the world. From New York City, to London England, to Melbourne Australia, to Mexico City Mexico, to Panama, you will always nd a sibling to welcome you home. When one enters Torah Ore he joins a culture that is synonymous with Torah. Torah Ore Alumni have spread throughout the world teaching the Rosh Yeshiva’s torah. Our Alumni have gone on to establish their own Yeshivas, Chesed organizations, become klei Kodesh by entering the Rabbinate and starting their own communities, taking the pulpit or teaching in other Yeshivas. A number of our alumni have become highly sought after, and famous lecturers and others have become noted authors. THE FAMILY hen one experiences his first havdallah with the RoshW Yeshiva on a Motzai Shabbos, he realizes that he entered a family. One cannot help but feel that the Rosh Yeshiva is there to look after each and every member of his family. This fatherly feeling is not only limited to the Rosh Yeshiva but the other members of the sta as well. As you walk through the hallways of the Yeshiva you notice so many dierent people speaking so many dierent languages, but we are all part of the same family. The Yeshiva goes on various hikes throughout the entire country so every bochur gets the opportunity to experience the splendor of the holy land. From a trip to the deserts in the Negev to skiing on Mount Chermon, no part of the land is excluded. For some it is Shabbos in the Golan with their favorite rebbe in an informal setting, to meeting some of the greatest torah giants alive today in Bnei Brak, everyone experiences what makes Eretz Yisroel a special place. TRIPS TRIPS nder the watchful eyes of Rabbi Chaitovsky and Rabbi Orbach,U the bochrim get a unique chance to experience various activities here in Eretz Yisroel, from watching the process of wine making in the famous Golan Winery, to ATVing in the Judean Hills, to jumping down a waterfall in Nachal Yehudiya, Rabbi Chaitvosky is there to help transform an exciting vacation into a meaningful experience. TRIPS FACULTY he faculty’s ability to combine high level shiurim along withT the talent to relate to each talmid on his own level is a direct reection of the vision and ideals of the Rosh HaYeshiva Shlita. Harav Chaim Pinchus Scheinberg, a world renowned Gadol BiYsiroel spends countless hours servicing the public by oering his sagacious advice, listening, and giving brachos to any individual who comes to his door, despite his advanced age. This uncanny talent of sympathizing for every individual who seeks him out, no matter what the situation, is reected in the attitude and approach of each and every rebbe in the Yeshiva. FACULTY he majority of the Torah Ore faculty had at one point inT their “learning careers” been students of the Rosh Yeshiva, and now “returned home” to pass on his message and learning style to the next generation. The ability to be part of a chain of the Mesorah is a unique experience, which is relished by the talmidim. The Yeshiva’s faculty consists of some of the brightest, insightful and dynamic Talmdei Chachmim in Chinuch today. From names that are world renowned to some of the best kept secrets in chinuch, each talmid feels that he has his own personal rebbe here in the yeshiva; a role model that is always available, from a simple piece of advice to a Shabbos meal, a bochur knows he always has someone to turn to. Many of the Rebbeim sacrice their own personal time to spend extra hours even late into the night with their adopted children, their talmidim. The talmid/rebbe relationship that is forged in Yeshiva is one that lasts a lifetime. The campus is a true bastion of torah supporting close to 800 people learning each day. From the Yeshiva Ketana to the Kollel, come people from all ages and walks of life frequent the Yeshiva’s halls of Torah. One of the highlights of our facility is its beautiful newly expanded and air-conditioned American Beis Medrash. Our dormitory is located within the walls of the Yeshiva so you are never too far away from the beis medrash.
