Cnh Industrial Magirus Camiva : de nouveaux locaux, un nouveau départ Chambéry, le 9 avril 2015 Des locaux flambant neuf à Chambéry, un pôle d’excellence, une équipe dédiée et motivée, une expertise et un savoir-faire reconnus, tout est en place pour redonner à Magirus Camiva ses lettres de noblesse et reprendre son leadership en France. Des locaux adaptés aux nouvelles fonctionnalités de Magirus Camiva Sur une surface de 12 200 m2 dont 4 465 m2 couverts, le nouveau site de Magirus Camiva devient le nouveau pôle d’excellence de la marque en France. Il se concentrera sur les véhicules équipés d’échelles, mais également sur les FPT, CCF, CCR, FPTL, VM*…. Conçu pour équiper plus d’une centaine de véhicules par an, le site de Chambéry offre une standardisation des méthodes au service de la personnalisation des véhicules. Il comprend un atelier de maintenance des moyens aériens et des véhicules de lutte contre l’incendie, un atelier de personnalisation destiné à la finition des véhicules neufs, une station d’essais pour les camions-pompes et les lances à incendie, une station d’essais équipée d’un puits de 11 mètres, un magasin de pièces détachées et accessoires et un service après vente pour le marché mondial, un show-room et une aire de livraison dédiée dans lequel les clients pourront réceptionner leurs nouveaux véhicules Magirus Camiva, et des bureaux pour les activités commerciales et administratives de l’entreprise. Un savoir-faire de longue date Les quarante et une personnes employées sur le site ont acquis au fil des ans un savoir faire connu et reconnu. Spécialistes des véhicules incendie, ils équipent et personnalisent chaque véhicule en fonction du cahier des charges donné, et ce dans les moindres détails. Magirus Camiva est en effet installé dans la région de Chambéry depuis plus de 60 ans. Plus de 10 000 véhicules sont sortis des ateliers de Saint-Alban-Leysse depuis les origines. Le pôle d’excellence de Chambéry va permettre de continuer à servir les services d’incendie dans les meilleures conditions. L’ancien site de Magirus Camiva a été réindustrialisé et 152 emplois durables vont être créés. Deux entreprises, Excoffier Recyclage et Frasteya, spécialisé dans la distribution d’articles de sport s’y installent dans un premier temps. Une réserve foncière d’un hectare a été constituée en vue d’une troisième implantation. Quant au nouveau site de Magirus Camiva, il emploie aujourd’hui 41 personnes dédiées au Pôle d’Excellence de la marque. * FPT (Fourgon Pompe Tonne), CCFL (Camion Citerne Feux de Forêts Léger), CCR (Camion Citerne Rural), FPTL (Fourgon Pompe Tonne Léger), VM (Véhicule Mousse)… Des marchés à conquérir et à reconquérir Longtemps leader sur le marché français des véhicules de lutte contre les incendies, Magirus Camiva a vu ses parts de marché décliner ces dernières années. La création du Pôle d’Excellence doit lui permettre de reconquérir son rôle de leadership qu’il a cependant gardé dans le domaine des véhicules équipés d’échelles. Sur un marché d’environ 300 véhicules par an, dont plus de 50% passent par la centrale publique d’achats, UGAP, cette reconquête devrait se faire dans les meilleurs délais, grâce au référencement de Magirus Camiva. Une gamme complète de véhicules de lutte contre les incendies Magirus Camiva commercialise et personnalise l’ensemble des équipements destinés aux véhicules de lutte contre les incendies, produits dans les usines Magirus de Ulm en Allemagne et Brescia en Italie. Quelle que soit la provenance du châssis, Magirus Camiva équipe les véhicules de 3,5 tonnes à 40 tonnes et au-delà. Fourgon pour intervention rapide et légère, porteur 26 tonnes FPT, véhicules 4x2 ou 4x4 CCF, 6x6, 8x8… toutes les configurations et tous les aménagements sont possibles : • Véhicules destinés à la lutte contre l’incendie en milieu urbain, rural et forestier avec réservoirs de 500 à 15 000 litres. • Véhicules de secours routiers. • Véhicules pour risques industriels • Véhicules aéroports • Véhicules pour interventions diverses • Véhicules échelles aériennes automatiques à mouvements séquentiels ou combinées de 25 à 60 mètres. • Composants hydrauliques tels que les pompes, motopompes, canons, dispositifs de protection de mousse, etc. Le Pôle d’Excellence de Chambéry est à même de proposer toutes les personnalisations possibles en fonction des cahiers des charges. Un peu d’histoire Si Camiva est implanté dans la région de Chambéry depuis plus de 60 ans, Magirus fabrique des équipements depuis plus de 150 ans. C’est en effet à Ulm en Allemagne que Conrad Dietrich Magirus fonde la première entreprise avant de lancer en 1872 la première « échelle d’Ulm », une échelle de 14 mètres. En 1931, les premières échelles pivotantes sont créées. En 1951, l’échelle pivotante la plus haute du monde, 52 mètres, est lancée, suivie en 1994 par une échelle pivotante articulée, et en 2005, une échelle pivotante à bras articulé télescopique. En 2012, Magirus présente une échelle pivotante articulée de 42 mètres, la plus haute du monde. Dans le même temps, Magirus se consacre également aux véhicules aéroportuaires de lutte contre les incendies avec des véhicules 4x4, 6x6 et 8x8. Cette expérience a permis à Magirus d’acquérir un savoir-faire et un leadership mondial dans le domaine des échelles, mais également dans toute la gamme des véhicules de lutte contre les incendies. Magirus Camiva à Chambéry Fort de l’expérience conjointe de Magirus et de Camiva, le nouveau Pôle d’Excellence de Chambéry offrira à la clientèle de Magirus Camiva des véhicules de conception exclusive, personnalisés et réalisés conformément à leurs préconisations techniques très spécifiques. Les 41 salariés que compte aujourd’hui Magirus Camiva auront à cœur de satisfaire une clientèle exigeante, et ce au sein de ce nouveau site, véritable vitrine du savoir-faire de Magirus Camiva en France.
