The Planning System is changing. Under the new Localism Bill people are being encouraged to become more involved in deciding how their own communities should change and grow for the future. Neighbourhood Plans The Councils of South Ferriby, Saxby All Saints, Bonby, Worlaby and Elsham have all decided to pursue the idea of preparing their own Neighbourhood Plans in order to have a greater say on planning applications in their area.

Each Parish Council will shortly be distributing survey questionnaires to their residents, requesting views and comments in order to assist in drawing up their Neighbourhood Plans. It is hoped that residents will fully participate in their own Parish survey. The forms will be returnable to their own Parish Clerk.
