Carroll Properties – part of the Carroll Group – is a family-run business, and they purchased 13 properties on Brookside Close at auction in 2013. Brookside Close is the former film set of the television soap opera Brookside. Carroll Properties own over 60 properties in the Liverpool area.
Contract Brief
These properties required a total renovation for which Carroll Properties undertook without the assistance of any external funding. The project entailed complete internal refurbishment including new bathrooms, new kitchens, landscaping and external drainage and pathways. The whole road needed to be dug out and a new gas supply installed, as these properties were literally just a shell and needed a complete re-vamp to transform them into luxury accommodation.

We were able to achieve all of our goals on this project. This was achieved with great effort from our site team which included: • Finishing Foreman – James Foy • Site Manager – Tom Carroll • Contracts Manager – Walter Carroll • Quantity Surveyor – Racheal Edwards

Quality Control
Our site team carried out detailed quality inspections before the properties went up for lease. The team paid particular attention to details like cleaning down works after completion. Also, a final garden inspection was carried out to ensure all debris was removed.
We used the highest quality products, to achieve the highest quality finish. The properties are now fully refurbished and leased to Liverpool families keeping the estate within the local community. The project was completed in 12 months.
The properties are now fully occupied and the tenants are all happy in their close community.

We used local suppliers such as Beesley & Fildes, Wolseley and SIG for the following reasons: • Manufacturer – quality, value, continuity, warranty • Supplier – delivery times, location of depot
