With this in mind, there is a possibility that Indonesian culture might eventually vanish in those individuals. Thus, this quantitative research focuses on Indonesian female K-Wavers between 15 and 30 years old who are living in the Jabodetabek area, and investigates their main medium of Korean Wave consumption and whether Korean Wave has an impact on individuals and on Indonesian culture itself. The results based on the data of 251 respondents show that internet is the main medium of Korean Wave consumption in the Jabodetabek area. • Mission Mangal, Batla House Making August 15 a Good Opportunity For
Publication: Moneycontrol.com Date: 14/08/2019 Mission Mangal, Batla House making August 15 a good opportunity for both audience and advertisers For a normal release to a big-ticket item during a holiday, the inventory sold is 20 percent higher and even the rates are 20 percent higher. Mr. Siddharth Bhardwaj (UFO Moviez) This Independence Day, there will be no dearth of entertainment, especially for movie buffs who can choose between two big star releases hitting theatres on August 15. Akshay Kumar is bringing to the big screen the story of the scientists at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) who worked for the Mars Orbiter Mission with Mission Mangal. Meanwhile, John Abraham’s film Batla House is about Operation Batla House, an encounter that happened in 2008 in Jamia Nagar, Delhi. But the opportunity is not attractive for cine-goers alone as interest amid advertisers is also peaking for in-cinema advertising. Talking to Moneycontrol, Siddharth Bhardwaj, Chief Marketing Officer - Head of Enterprise Sales, UFO Moviez, explained how holidays like August 15 are lucrative periods for advertisers and the exhibition industry. “Whenever there is an opportunity of an extended weekend or an occasion like Diwali or Eid or August 15 or January 26 - most blockbusters release during this time, our inventories increase during such weeks. During these weeks advertisers have to pay a premium,” he said. For a normal release to a big-ticket item during a holiday, the inventory sold is 20 percent higher and even the rates are 20 percent higher. However, Bhardwaj points out that advertising rates depend on many factors and differs from screen to screen and market to market.

MILLENNIALS AND F&B IN INDIA 14 16 18 WHAT’S INTERNATIONAL HOW HAS TRENDING? VERSUS DOMESTIC THE REAL OPERATORS ESTATE SECTOR RESPONDED? 20 24 RECOMMENDATIONS DEFINITIONS © 2018 CBRE, Inc. | 1 FOOD FOR THOUGHT – DEMYSTIFYING INDIA’S F&B SEGMENT INTRODUCTION The Food and Beverage (F&B) segment, globally and in India, has undergone a transformation, moving away from a “sub segment of retail” to a” full-fledged segment” capable of functioning independently of traditional retail. F&B is no longer a means to only complete the retail experience, but possesses the ability to elevate, and sometimes be the sole retail experience for a consumer. This “food revolution” has happened not only due to the diversity that F&B now offers, but also due to a changing/maturing consumer profile and dining out being looked at more than just a way to satiate hunger. The change in our F&B landscape has been due to structural shifts in the eating out equation – increasing urbanization, rising disposable incomes, rising trend of socializing, nuclear families, and rising consumerism; all of which have orchestrated a change in the way India dines. Most global operators realize that India is a market that offers significant potential for growth, in the metropolitan cities and beyond. This realization is evident in the measures these operators have taken while entering the Indian market - from customizing their menus, offering home delivery in India as an exception (when compared to other countries of their operation) and expanding their standard offerings - global operators are going all out to ensure acceptance and success.
