My research incorporates the viewing and analysis of Japanese animations and discusses the symbolism behind transformation sequences. The show was about a teenage girl who discovers that she is the legendary Sailor Moon, then she has to band with the other scouts to save Earth from an ancient evil. There is also a mini scout in the series. I enjoyed the show because of its emphasis on friendship and the fact that all of the characters are so vastly different. -
