For more details, please visit www.ipeglobal.com ; www.ipeafrica.com Job Description Key Responsibilities Areas: Annexure - Terms of Reference ● Defining the scope of the engineering project and assisting client in Tender ● Negotiate contracts, prepare orders/notices, pay bills, review progress and ensures the project progress; ● Conducting field and construction site inspections; supervision of field surveys to be conducted (topographic survey of the study area using total station; required IPE Global Limited engineering surveys and investigations (LIDAR survey, geotechnical investigation, soil survey, construction material survey, ground water investigation i.e. hydro-geological investigations, rainfall data collection, identification of underground utilities and their mapping, water sampling and analysis etc.) as per project requirements ● Data collection & data collation from various primary & secondary sources including engineering drawings, maps, DPRs, technical documents, including existing Jabalpur development plans, other converging assignments, zonal plan, local area plans, development control regulations (DCRs), environmental regulations etc. as required ● Responsible for preparing reports, design report, daily progress report, weekly progress reports, specification documents and plan estimates/BOO; Feasibility report, As-in-as report, etc. Ensuring compliance to project timelines, including organizing meetings, submission of reports and periodic deliverables; ● Updation & maintaining MIS of project activities; ● Ensuring project logistics in Projects (Meetings/ Workshops / Travel etc.); ● Infrastructure Gap Assessment - Assist in projecting the demand and assess current and future infrastructure requirements with a time horizon of 5-10 years considering population projections. The infrastructure requirements shall be compared to current level of infrastructure and services and relevant benchmarks and accordingly, infrastructure gap shall be assessed ● Lead in Preparation of Tender documents of the identified packages and projects and assistance in overall bid process management (Bid process management for all ABD related assignments) ● Regularly update and review the project activities using open standard project management application software with capability to track and monitor project activities in the project monitoring phase ● Any other activities or work assigned by the Project Manager / client from time to time Qualification & ▪ Advanced Degree in Public Health/Medicine/Nutrition/Management or Experience related area from a institute of global repute ▪ Minimum of 15 years of experience across consulting and strategic business management in the health, nutrition and WASH sector. ▪ Minimum 5 years experience of leading Business Development function in consulting set-up ▪ Minimum 3 years experience as a P&L head ▪ Demonstrated skills in networking and leveraging relationships across a range of stakeholders including donors, governments, experts and partners. ▪ Willingness and ability to travel frequently occasionally on short notice both nationally and internationally. ▪ Familiarity with multi-lateral and bilateral policies and regulations; ▪ Demonstrated ability to manage project staff and financial activities; ▪ Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to make timely and transparent decisions, and manage conflicts; ▪ Experience and willingness of working in fragile countries of Africa.
