We have had an exciting start to the month with the announcement that York Art Gallery has been shortlisted for the Art Fund's Museum of the Year award - a fantastic achievement following our redevelopment - further details here.
We are also pleased to confirm the dates of our York Museums Trust Residents' Weekend which will take place on 25 and 26 June 2016. Just bring along proof of your York residency for free entry to all of our sites over the two days.
From model aircraft and military parades to inspiring stories and creative costumes, there will be plenty to explore, inspire and engage this half term from 28 May to 5 June 2016. Pop in to collect a leaflet or view a copy online.
