Overview NC College Application Week is a state-wide promotional week for NC high school seniors to apply and apply early to colleges and universities in . CAW’s popularity has led some colleges and universities to decide to entirely waive the application fee during this week. Not every participating college or university waives their application fee; however, for those who qualify they will accept the College Board College Application Fee Waiver during CAW.

Application Fee Waivers Based on Financial Need Waivers of admission application fees for students with a demonstrated need and for whom an application fee would create an undue burden are provided at all of the 36 private colleges and universities as well as all of the 16 University of North Carolina system campuses. Application fee waivers due to financial hardship are provided to ensure no student is deprived of the opportunity to pursue admission to the institution(s) of their choice.
