PRESIDENT

Daniel Bullard: Dan lives with his wife Holly and stepdaughter Abbie, has three daughters and six grandchildren. He is active in The Church of Christ, a past member of the RTM, an incumbent on The Stony Creek Association, past member of the Police Commissioners, and is a member of the Thimble Sailing Club and Off Soundings Club. Dan is a graduate of Yale, president of Bullard Financial, and a principal of ONESCO in Branford.

TREASURER

Gregory Ames: Greg and Nina have owned their Stony Creek home since 1989 and have been full-time residents since 1999. Greg is the president of Ames and Whitaker, Architects and has served as treasurer of the Building Congress, and as treasurer and president of the Connecticut chapter of the American Institute of Architects, A.I.A. and the Mountainbrook Homeowner's Association. He is currently treasurer of The Stony Creek Association. TAX COLLECTOR

Nick Fischer: Nick spent his childhood in Stony Creek, moving in 1988 to Guilford where he and his wife raised their two children. He moved his family back in 2009 to Linden Point Road where he currently resides. Nick established Fischer Excavating, Inc., in 1987 in Branford and has done a majority of the excavation work in Stony Creek and on the . He is a graduate of the University of New Haven where he received a BS in Finance.

AUDITORS

Madelaine Mansfield: Madelaine moved to Stony Creek in 2007 and was immediately impressed with the unique character and surrounding natural beauty of this community. She is currently the Comptroller at The Madison Beach Club, Inc. and for the past twenty years the owner of Branford Bookkeeping. She is also an artist with work currently at Greene Gallery in Guilford. Madelaine offers her accounting skills to SCA in order to be an active participant in maintaining this wonderful community.

Charles Torre: Charlie has been a resident of the Creek since 1965 and retired in 2004 as Director of Treasury at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is a former chairman and member of the board of directors of the Better Business Bureau of Connecticut, is an active member of St. Therese Church, serving as a trustee of the church's Knights of Columbus Council, and also serves as a Eucharist Minister. He serves as auditor for The Stony Creek Association.

EXECUTIVE BOARD

Brian Ameche (nominee): I rented in Stony Creek a few years ago, loved it and have moved here. My architectural background includes 27 years in design and construction of over 200 projects. I've served extensively in local planning and zoning (served on P&Z in Durham, CT for 15 years, was Chair of the Conservation Commission, as well). My hope is to serve preservation, community and, where appropriate, development and I believe I have the skills to assist the SCA with its mission.

Robert Babcock (nominee): Bob returned to Stony Creek thirteen years ago. He enjoys being active in the community where he lives. Bob founded The Branford Education Foundation. Bob serves as a board member of the Stony Creek Museum. He Co-Chaired for The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in Cheshire and is Chairman of the Finance Committee at the Church of Christ Congregational in Stony Creek. He is past President of Fire Protection Testing Inc.

Josh Brooks - Board member: Josh has been a life-long resident of Stony Creek. He is a stonemason with deep ties to the roots of the community. Presently a member of the Branford RTM, he is very civic minded. Josh is married with two children.

Erica Cheney (nominee): I have lived in Stony Creek for the last 17 years with my husband and two children I am on the board of the Friends of Willoughby Wallace Library and do a lot of volunteer work on the shoreline because I love this community. My professional background is in project management and business analysis.

Christine Chiocchio (nominee): Christine teaches art at Stony Creek Studios and is co-owner of Seaside gift shop. She has served on several boards including the Foote School and currently serves on the board of the Yale Alumni Service Corps. Watching her children grow up in the Creek, painting and photographing its beauty, and participating in the community has given her an appreciation for Stony Creek as well as sense of responsibility to preserve its character as the village grows.

Theodore Ells (nominee): Ted previously served on Executive Board from 2008 to July 2014. He was Vice President, chaired Legal/Zoning, co-chaired Bayview Park Committee, and on Village District Committee. He chairs the Branford Board of Ethics, is on Connecticut Real Estate Commission, and is vice-president of the Stony Creek Museum. His law office is in Stony Creek. Tina and he have three daughters and six grandchildren. Ted hopes to help Board become a more positive force to improve the quality of life in the community.

Jim Fiora (nominee): Jim has lived in Stony Creek since 1985 and, with his wife, Laura Barr, has raised two sons (Austen & Ian). He is freelance commercial photographer and past president of the CT Chapter of The American Society of Media Photographers. He has assisted the SCA as a committee member in the 1990’s, helping the Board gather information to provide input to the Town of Branford for the 10-year Plan of Development.

Sandra Fischer - Board member: Sandra moved to Stony Creek in 1970 with Phil and their four children. She has a Masters in Environmental Education, and retired after teaching science at Westbrook Middle School for twenty-five years. She has been active in many civic affairs within the community and is a multi-term member of The Stony Creek Association board.

Katina Gionteris (nominee): I may not have lived here all my life but I played at the Stony Creek Community Center and worked at the Indian Point Club as a kid. I moved here in 1988 with my mother and brother (Jimmy Balacos). Currently, I live on Howd Ave. with my husband and 3 sons. I would like to focus on community minded activities that make Stony Creek the special place it is and to promote positive activities in Stony Creek.

Jerald Greenvall (nominee): Jake, a life-long Stony Creek resident, is the former Stony Creek Association tax collector for twenty-plus years. He retired as a systems analyst from SNET. He is a fifty-year member of Rescue Co. #5 and was a member of the committee that planned and implemented conversion of the old St. Therese Church into a Stony Creek Community Center in the 1970s. He is treasurer of the Stony Creek Cemetery Association.

DeeDee (Delores) Hakun - Board member: DeeDee vacationed in Stony Creek in 1992 and never left. Its charm was immediate and life changing. The world left behind was the retail world, namely as Vice President of the International division of The May Department Stores Co. Pursuing her passion for the arts, DeeDee has been an active board member of the Guilford Art Center and an advocate for dog rescue. DeeDee shares her house with three Mini Dachshunds, Cookie, Lady Tess, and Stony Creek's Chasin' My Dream.

Michael Infantino, Jr. (nominee): Michael is a lifetime resident of Stony Creek. He has been the owner of Sea Mist, LLC Thimble Islands Cruise for about 35 years, a member of Stony Creek Rescue Co. 5. for over 30 years, and past captain of Marine 5 fireboat and is still an active member.

Sam Kirby - Board member: Sam has lived in Stony Creek fifteen years and raised two children here. In 2003, he bought a home on Thimble Islands Road. Sam is a graduate of Yale College and Yale School of Architecture. He is currently an Associate of Newman Architects in New Haven. He is a member of the Thimble Islands Sailing Club and volunteers at the Stony Creek Museum. Sam is interested in the character of the architecture and coastline of this unique community.

Peter Kusterer - Board member: 32 year resident/owner at Stony Creek harborside; owner of Stony Creek marina, landlord to Thimbleberry Deli & Thimble Marine; 67 year part-time Kidd's resident with special knowledge & appreciation of the community’s history & traditions. A hands-on, bloody knuckler, who improves properties while preserving the flavors of the village waterfront landscape. Background: Real Estate 40 years; Commissioner/VP of New Haven's "Chapel West" Special District 15 years; former CT in-house Marketing Director for Westchester-based corp. real estate developer (Baker Properties); instrumental in purchase/development of Executive Campus (Orange), Saab building (Orange), US Surgical (No. Haven),& Sikorsky bldgs. (Stratford).

Linda Reed - Board Member: Stony Creek resident since 1984; two sons (Logan & Alden); multi-term SCA board member, serving on Legal & Zoning (co-chair), Village District Study, Police & Traffic, & Bayview Park; devoted to helping residents with diverse neighborhood & quality of life interests/issues, & village-wide/coastal issues; Fairfield (biology); Yale (M.F.S. env. planning); certificated in CT zoning (CAZEO/UConn); 35 yrs. land use/zoning; 25 yrs. education/labor law; legal staff for CT Education Assoc.; Volunteer: Bayview Park playground renovations (1990; 2013); St. Therese Church (parish advisory bd., lector, Eucharistic minister); past Branford Land Trust Bd. Member.

Mark Richter - Board member: My wife Laura and I have owned and operated the Stony Creek Package Store for 8 years. We are proud to be a part of the Creek and have now lived on Buena Vista Road for 2 years. On a daily basis, I learn more about the history of the Creek by talking to residents and would like to help and sustain and improve the quality of life we all enjoy. We love boating around the Thimbles before work every day we can get out, and weather permitting. I am proud to live and work in what I feel is one of the best places, and I look forward to doing so for many years to come.

James Walker (nominee): We came to Stony Creek in 1969. I am an independent moderate displeased with the tenor & direction of the past year & believe that individuals may successfully discuss appropriate conclusions to issues without spending our funds for legal fees. Civically, I was a co-founder of “Our Water Not Broadwater,” served terms on the board of the Stony Creek Association, four terms as one of our district RTM representatives, and a member of the board of BCTV. I love our village & want to maintain & enhance quality of life for the character and characters of our community.
