CELEBRATIONS

 EID On a day before Eid, kids of pre primary class made a greeting card of aluminium foil and black sheet. During assembly time, the student of class 6 spoke about celebration of Eid. The teacher encouraged children to celebrate all festivals with unity and brotherhood. Outcome- All the students wished each other by saying Eid Mubarak

 GURU PURNIMA A day in honour of the guru, Guru Purnima was celebrated on 31-July-2015. All the teachers and students remembered Swami Krishnanand ji. Teachers blessed kids with prosper life. On the same day Group poem recitation competition was held. All the classes participated in it. Reciting poem was a great fun for kids. All the participants got incentives and appreciation prize.

 WORLD POPULATION DAY World population day celebrated on 11 JULY. The student shared information about particular day. A task was given to upper primary students. They counted people who live in their villages. They collected data and written the records in notebooks. Teacher told students about demerits

of over population and limited resources available on Earth. Students came to know about data of ’s and ’s population.

 RED COLOUR DAY

A special colour day was determined to know about significance and identification of ‘red’ colour.All the classes involved in colouring group activities. During classroom teaching, teachers taught students about importance of red colour in world around us. Pre primary students learned to identify colour. The different group activities done by students were-

All the festivals and days celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. The students of all classes participated in celebrations.

 KARGIL VIJAY DIVAS On 26 July students of upper primary classes watched documentary of Kargil War. Teacher spoke about the main happenings of Kargil War. Student came to know about the sacrifice of great army- men who guard us all day and night long.

They have started using these terms with teachers and with fellow students.

CRAFTY FLOWERS – CLASS VIII

Students made flowers for notice board decoration. The materials used were aluminium foil, pencil curls, crumpled paper, glue and glitters.

BANNERS-CLASS VIII AND CLASS V

Students made banners for world population day, Guru Purnima and Group poem recitation competition.They learned different styles of writing and decorating banners.

LITERACY ACTIVITIES

 MATHEMATICS 'SIZE': CLASS I

Students learned the concept of big and small by differentiating between stones of different sizes.

MATHS PUZZLE AND RIDDLE-CLASS VI

During Maths activity time, students solved maths puzzles and riddles.

NUMBER SENSE-STORY OF NUMBER

Students made different stories to create numbers. For example, number 5 can be made with 6 patterns (0+5, 1+4,2+3,3+2,4+1,5+0).

MEASUREMENTS

Kids used metrics (inch tape) to measure the length of students. Students measured length of arms, width of wrist, ankle etc.

CHARTS-CLASSVII

Kids made a chart on topics ‘Line’ and ‘Angles’. They described the details of this concept.

- MAKING BIG NUMBER WITH NUMBER CARDS- CLASS VI

Students used number cards to make big numbers. Students got to know about the place value, face value and expanded form of numbers.

SHAPES CHART- CLASS V

Kids draw and coloured different shapes on chart paper.

COUNTING ON GANITMAALA-CLASS I

Students are doing counting on ganitmaala.

SHOPPING IN FAIR- CLASS V

Class V students established a setup of village fair in their class room. That fair included different shop, few students became seller and rest of them became buyers. Students learned to count on things and budgeting of items.

PAPER FOLDING TECHNIQUE- CLASS IV

Kids used origami technique of paper folding to create patterns in colored papers.

E-CLASS

Students of upper primary and primary classes watched videos of science and maths concepts in E- classes.

 ENGLISH

FAMILY CIRCLE-CLASS V

Kids draw a circle based on concept of family relationships. That circle included mother, father, brother, sister, grandfather and grandmother.

APPLE-THUMB PAINTING CLASS II

An apple can be drawn by using different techniques. Kids did thumb painting and made apple of their thumb size. During activity teacher shared general facts about an apple.

TREES-OUR FRIENDS CLASS IV

As a part of poem trees, class IV students draw a sketch of tree and stick leaves with twigs in it.

PUNCTUATION MARKS- CLASS III

During English classes, kids learned to identify question mark, exclamatory mark, comma and full stop. They draw the outline of punctuation marks, then did tear and paste activity of punctuation marks.

The kids of K.G participated in pebbles activity of placing pebbles in right order to make hindi ‘swara’.

MORAL LESSONS CLASS I

For the moral development of students, short moral stories were told by teachers. They had also act on moral stories for better learning of moral values.

WALK & JUMP IN 'SWAR'- CLASS I

Kids participated in this activity. Kid first listened to the Hindi Swaara that is spoken then walk or jump in that swara’s box.

 E.V.S Students learned more about topics of E.V.S by drawing sketch and colouring it.

CLASS VIII - SEED TESTING AND PLANTING THE TESTED SEED

In science laboratory, seed testing was done by class VIII students. They added water in beaker then pour seeds in it. The seeds that were floating proved as bad seeds. The good quality seeds separated from bad ones.

The tested seeds planted in garden of school.

CLASS V OBSERVED THE FLOATING & NON-FLOATING THINGS

Class V students observed the scientific principles and laws by doing science practical of floating and non-floating things in water.

CLASS VIII MICROSCOPE

Students observed presence of chlorophyll in leaves under microscope.

 GENERAL KNOWLEDGE

INTERCLASS G.K QUIZ- CLASS IV-VIII

G.K based questions asked by teacher. It enhanced the learning of current General Knowledge.

 SAND PLAY

FUN ART IN SAND- CLASS VI

By using twigs kids made different designs on sand that came first in their mind.

 BAAL SABHA

After the beginning of new session, every Monday after Yoga session and prayer session students gathered for ‘baal-sabha’. In the baal sabha, all students of class 3rd-8TH get chance of stage performance. Kids willingly come forward and perform. They recited English poem, Hindi poem, sing patriotic songs, traditional Marwari songs, shared general facts, told stories and jokes. Few questions based on last week news and events asked to students ,the selected one who give correct answer later on get appreciation prize. Students overcame stage fear. They got a platform to perform. Teachers also asked question based on last week news. The students who answered correctly got prize.

 P.T.M at Lions Nagar, Khejarli

Our teachers approached parents of Khejarli village for parent-teacher meeting. They talked about how that student is doing in school. Teachers encouraged parents to be supportive in child’s overall development.

 Tribute to Dr. Kalam

On 28-7 our whole school paid tribute to Dr. Kalam, the missile man. Two minutes silence as tribute was observed by all our teachers and students. Teacher shared information about great works and life history of A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
