Shankar also became the fifth freshman to ever win the high jump title, as K-State holds the second most NCAA titles in the men’s high jump of any school in the country (6). TEJASWIN SHANKAR - HIGH JUMP NCAA CHAMPION Featured in 2019 K-State Track and Field Media Guide Top of the NCAA With his NCAA Title in 2018, Shankar becomes the fifth NCAA Outdoor high jump champion for K-State in the past 10 years. K-State is the only school to ever accomplish such a feat in the event.
