2018 Royal CUP & L.M GoRDON BOWL - Conditions of Play

1. 18 holes of Stroke Play. Open to male amateurs whose handicap does not exceed 5.4 and female amateurs whose Golf Australia handicap does not exceed 12.0. The Match Committee reserves the right to include Royal Adelaide members that exceed the above handicap limits at their discretion.

2. Entries Close on Friday 27th July 2018 at 5pm. All entries are to be made via MiTournament only. No phone, postal or email entries will be accepted. No refunds unless notification of withdrawal is received by Monday 30th July at 5pm.

3. Both the men’s and the women’s fields are strictly limited. In the event that the entries exceed this limit, The Royal Adelaide Golf Club reserves the right to refuse any entry without explanation.

4. The Rules of Golf and the Local Rules of the Royal Adelaide Golf Club shall be the rules of play. The event will be conducted and controlled by the Match Committee of the Royal Adelaide Golf Club who will referee in the case of any dispute.

5. Ties for the winner of the Men’s & Women’s events will be decided by "sudden death" play off immediately following the conclusion of regulation play.

6. Competitors should be at the tee to start five minutes prior to their appointed time. Rule 6(3) will apply. Starting times will be available on the Royal Adelaide Golf Club website: www.royaladelaidegolf.com.au from Wednesday 1st August 2018.

7. Club Dress Regulations are to be observed in the Clubhouse and on the Course at all times.

8. Practice round only on Friday 3rd August from 1.30pm at a green fee cost of $90 per player. Bookings are to be made via the Professional Shop on 8356 8508.

9. In the event that the tournament is cancelled prior to the commencement of play, a full refund of entry fees will apply.

10. In the event that the tournament is shortened or abandoned once play has commenced, no refund of entry fees will apply.

DRESS CODE at the royal Adelaide golf club

 Consistent with the standards of the Club, smart attire is required at all times.  Shirts must have collars. Golf turtle neck shirts or skivvies are acceptable. Shirts must be tucked in unless the shirt is expressly tailored to hang loose in which case the shirt must be no longer than hip height.  Sockettes or ankle socks are to be substantially white or of a colour that matches the predominant colour of the golfer’s outfit. Dress socks are to be plain white or white with a Club logo.  Shorts must be tailored and worn with a belt. Cargo shorts (i.e. shorts with patch pockets sewn onto the side) are not permitted.  Three quarter trousers, denim clothing, track tops and leisure suits are not permitted.  Logos on shirts are to be no larger than pocket size. Shirts with messages, cartoons, loud advertising slogans are not permitted.  All tattoos must be covered at all times on the and in the Clubhouse.

The Practice Range will be open from 7am. Range balls will be available from the Pro Shop at a cost of $6 per basket. Please be mindful of other players needing to use the range.
