It’s the Summer of 2017 - Do You Know Where Your Orcus Is?

Discovered in 2004 and officially classified as a trans-Neptunian object (TNO) from our solar system’s outer, transformational edge (officially called the Kuiper Belt), Orcus carries the life- changing power of your oaths and vows. Sometimes called “the other Pluto,” his power is transformational.

Although they’ve always been part of our reality, planets come “online” in our consciousness only when they’re discovered. To use the power of the edge-dwellers, we need to be able to hold and ground their energy.

Tracking Orcus Through the Decades

Orcus moves very slowly. It takes him about 20 years to move through a sign. As he moves from one sign to another, he spends a year “in transition” -- going back and forth between 28 and 29 degrees of the “old” sign and 0 and 1 degrees of the “new” one.

May 25, 1933 - April 1, 1934

• Orcus was moving back and forth between 28 and 29 degrees Taurus and 0 and 1 degrees Gemini.

• Look up your birth date in the Orcus ephemeris (http://www.astro.com/swisseph/2004dw.htm). The degrees are listed in five-day intervals, so to figure exactly you’ll need to do a little math.
