Chrysler : Cornwall’s Moore Family Crowned Winner of 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan in Dodge Family All-Stars Program

May 28, 2013, Saskatoon, SK - The Moore family are now the proud owners of a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. They were one of three finalist families nominated as a part of the Dodge Family All-Stars program.

Established in 2013, the Dodge Family All-Stars program serves to recognize the billet families of the CHL (Canadian Hockey League), or those who volunteer to serve as surrogate parents for young CHL players between the ages of 16 and 21. The families welcome the players into their homes and help them to adjust to the new communities, which are often far away from their hometowns.

"We are so excited. We just couldn't believe it when we saw the lights flashing and the horn go off. This whole experience has been so wonderful. To be recognized for what we love doing for our players, win this trip to Saskatoon and then win a new van, it's overwhelmingly wonderful,” said Pat Moore.

The Moores were on the edge of their seats the entire first and second periods of the MasterCard Semi-Final game, waiting to see whether or not they held the winning key. The presentation took place during the second intermission of the game between the and the on Friday, May 24th.

Through the Dodge Family All-Stars program, fans of the Canadian Hockey League voted to recognize three billet families as “All-Stars.” One billet family from each of the CHL’s three leagues - the Hockey league (OHL), the Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), and the (WHL) – were nominated as a finalist of the program.
