This upcoming exhibition is guest curated by Allison M. Glenn (associate curator at Crystal Bridges in Arkansas) who has convened an advisory group of artists, scholars and activists, including:

Theaster Gates, creator of the Tamir Rice memorial in Chicago Amy Sherald, artist who painted Breonna Taylor for the cover of Vanity Fair (September 2020) Hank Willis Thomas, cofounder of For Freedoms Jon-Sesrie Goff, filmmaker Allison K. Young, art historian at LSU Mecca Brooks, strategist La Keisha Leek, art administrator and a cousin of Trayvon Martin Raymond Green, retired military officer and cousin of the late Alton Sterling

According to the Museum's website, the exhibit will "reflect on the life of Breonna Taylor, her killing in 2020, and the year of protests that followed, in Louisville and around the world, exploring the dualities between a personal, local story and the nation’s reflection on the promise, witness, and remembrance of too many Black lives lost to gun violence."
