The support of sponsors, our “business partners”, has long been critical source of revenue Tough to operate the high school sports programs of the Southern Section. More than ever before Times given our state’s current financial crisis, the income from sponsorships allows the Ahead Southern Section to continue operating the finest championships possible.

We sometimes hear from coaches and athletic directors, “but we don’t get any of this sponsorship money so why should we care?” The answer is a simple but often overlooked one:. If we didn’t have sponsorships, you’d have to make up the difference. By James Staunton, Ed.D.
