Bay Trail Richmond 2021 Mid Year Report

This 21st Mid Year report by TRAC, the Trails for Richmond Action Committee, summarizes progress in the City of Richmond (City). The City has 36 miles of Bay Trail completed …. 10% of the existing 356 miles of this planned 500-mile walking and cycling route encircling San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. Six miles of gaps remain as shown on the map last page of this report.

Great strides were made toward completing and improving the Bay Trail. The City moved with alacrity to implement the Ferry to Bridge to Greenway Complete Streets Plan. Regional Park District (EBRPD) launched plans to extend the Bay Trail northward from Point Pinole.
