The Salt Spring Island Incorporation Study Committee learned Monday that funds will “support additional work that is necessary or advisable in the completion of the incorpora- tion study,” and that the Ministry of Commu- nity, Sport and Cultural Development agreed to a new deadline of Nov. 30, 2016 to fi nish the study committee’s work. “This is a testament to the complex nature of the study, and the province’s commitment to see it done properly,” said a press release from the committee.
