MCT TO HOST INFORMATION AND ID SESSIONS ACROSS THE COUNTY Seven Different Dates & Locations in November

GRANITE CITY, ILL., OCTOBER 29, 2018… Madison County Transit (MCT) will be holding Information & ID Sessions in seven different Madison County communities in the month of November. MCT Staff members will be available to answer questions, provide information, and take photos for those who qualify for an MCT Free Ride or Half Fare ID. MCT will be at the following locations in the month of November:

• November 2 12 PM – 1 PM Madison: Soup ‘n Share at Mt. Nebo • November 6 2 PM – 3 PM Alton: Regional Multimodal Transportation Center • November 7 1 PM – 4 PM Edwardsville: MCT Edwardsville Station • November 13 10 AM – 11 AM Collinsville: Township Senior Center • November 14 2 PM – 3 PM Bethalto: Village Hall • November 15 10 AM – 11 AM Granite City: Township Senior Center • November 16 10 AM – 11 AM Troy: Tri-Township Public Library

Any individual who has their photo taken for an MCT Free Ride or Half Fare ID will receive the ID in the mail. Free Ride & Half Fare ID Sessions are always held the first Wednesday of the month at the Edwardsville Station from 1 PM – 4 PM. Madison County Transit (MCT) provides multi-modal transportation services for Madison County, . MCT operates a fixed-route bus service, connecting to MetroLink; express weekday commuter service directly to and from downtown St. Louis; and seasonal express service to the Muny. For elderly and disabled residents who are unable to use the fixed-route , MCT provides complementary door to door service. MCT is also responsible for the construction and maintenance of more than 130 miles of bikeways that comprise the MCT Trails system, as well as overseeing RideFinders, the St. Louis region’s FREE carpooling and vanpooling program. # # #
