  • Joey Logano Wins at Kansas
JOEY LOGANO EARNS BACK-TO-BACK NASCAR VICTORIES, WINNING HOLLYWOOD CASINO 400 AT KANSAS SPEEDWAY Wiley X®-Sponsored Driver Continues His 2015 Hot Streak, Driving Aggressively To Take Lead With Less Than Five Laps Remaining Wiley X®-sponsored NASCAR driver Joey Logano had already cemented his position as one of the eight drivers in the upcoming Sprint Cup Championship Series Eliminator Round with a win last week at Charlotte Motor Speedway — yet he wasn’t going to take his “foot off the gas” for a second. Instead, Logano notched his first back-to-back wins (and fifth overall of the season) by taking the checkered flag at Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway. “This is the mark of a champion — driving his hardest at the end of the season, and winning even when he doesn’t have to,” said Wiley X Co-Owner Myles Freeman, Jr. “Joey is building up incredible momentum that will make him hard to beat. Racing fans can see how much he wants this Sprint Cup Championship, and it’s going to be very exciting for us to watch how things unfold over the next few weeks,” added Freeman. Logano literally had to battle to the end for this win at Kansas Speedway. This victory wasn’t without some controversy (the race was won after a green-white-checkered-flag restart and an extra two laps past the scheduled distance) but it certainly showed off Logano’s aggressive driving style and desire to win. Logano seemed to have the fastest car on the track all day, yet he still found himself behind Matt Kenseth (also sponsored by Wiley X) in the closing laps of the race.

Contact: Matthew Simmons Adam Saal Bill Klingbeil SRT Motorsports - Nationwide Race Recap - Kentucky HORNISH LEADS DODGE WITH SIXTH-PLACE FINISH AT KENTUCKY Keselowski Loses Track Position Early, Rebounds to Grab Seventh-Place June 29, 2012, Sparta, Ky. - SPARTA, Ky. (Saturday, June 30, 2012) – Sam Hornish Jr. continued his string of rock-solid finishes in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. He finished sixth in Friday night’s Feed the Children 300 at Kentucky Speedway. The driver of the No. 12 Wurth Dodge Challenger posted his eighth top-10 finish and third consecutive. He remains fourth in the series championship standings, 33 points behind leader Austin Dillon. “That’s the thing that you’ve got to do; you’ve got to be consistent,” Hornish said. “We need to keep being smart and doing the things that we’re doing. We’re chipping away at it. We’d love to do it all in about two races and be leading the points but it’s not going to happen that way. We just need to be smart about what we do.” Brad Keselowski overcame the loss of track position early in the race to finish seventh, his eighth top-10 finish in 11 starts this season. Keselowski was running third when he pitted during the first caution of the race on lap 26. The crew had an issue with the right-front during the stop plus receiving a penalty for pitting outside the pit box and a tire violation. Keselowski restarted 29th but was able to work his way back onto the top five by lap 130.

This opportunity is made possible by Richard Childress Racing’s (RCR) partnership with VF Imagewear brand Red Kap. “Like Alsco, RCR is a family-run business. With Richard Childress’ grandson, Ty, driving the No. 3 car, coming on board with a first-class organization like RCR is a no-brainer,” said Jim Divers, Director of Sales and Marketing at Alsco. “Just having our brand connected with this team is a tremendous benefit. • Wiley X® Sponsored Driver Joey Logano Wins Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway
WILEY X® SPONSORED DRIVER JOEY LOGANO WINS SPRINT ALL-STAR RACE AT CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY Logano Takes Lead With Two Laps Remaining to Win $1 Million Exhibition Race Joey Logano is still driving hard for his first official NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win of the season, and Saturday’s All-Star race victory may just be the stepping-stone he needs. Logano outmaneuvered Kyle Larson with two laps remaining and held on for the checkered flag in May 21’s $1 million exhibition race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This All-Star event featured many of the sport’s top drivers, and while it didn’t count in the Chase for the Sprint Cup standings, beating drivers like Larson and third-place finisher Dale Earnhardt, Jr. had to boost Logano’s confidence moving forward. The race provided an exciting finish for the throngs of NASCAR fans who gathered under the lights at this iconic Southern oval and cheered Logano on to victory. Logano has raced strongly during the 2016 campaign, having notched three Top 5 finishes and six Top 10 finishes and holding 8th Place in the current Sprint Cup Championship Series points standings. A perennial favorite, Logano has given his fans plenty to cheer about and plenty of reason to believe that more trips to victory lane are on the horizon. “We are very proud of Joey’s win against such an impressive field of racing’s all-stars,” said Wiley X Co-Owner and avid racing enthusiast Myles Freeman, Jr. “Joey has raced well and fought hard all season long.
