You may either email (preferred method) or snail mail entries. Email entries will need to bring a signed entry form on the day of the meet. Please include each entries breed, sex, NOTRA#, call name, registered name, and owner’s name(s), address, phone# and email when entering. Checks should be made out to BCOSW. METHOD OF RELEASE All Breeds will be boxed, EXCEPT that (1) if breeds are too large to fit comfortably in the boxes they will be hand slipped. This will be determined by the race committee. LURE TYPE – Continuous Loop DISTANCE – 300 yard modified uval PROGRAMS – 3 programs for OBs/ 4 programs for whippets Silken Windhounds are now an eligible NOTRA breed. UKC papers are required for registration with NOTRA. ELIGIBLE BREEDS Only purebred Afghan Hounds, Basenjis, Borzoi, Cirneco dell’Etna, Greyhounds, Ibizan Hounds, Irish Wolfhounds, Italian Greyhounds, Magyar Agar, Pharaoh Hounds, Portuguese Podengo, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Salukis, Scottish Deerhounds, Silken Windhounds, Sloughis and Whippets may enter. FIRST TIME ENTRIES First time entered hounds can be registered on the day of the meet by submitting a copy of the hound’s registration papers with a check for $2.00. AKC, NGA, acceptable foreign registry, or ILP for all breeds except Silken Windhounds. Silken Windhounds will be allowed to enter using UKC registration papers ONLY. Or registration can also be accomplished by sending that same information directly to NOTRA a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the meet. Registration is for the life of the hound. A certification run is required for first time entries. See rule 1.11 in the NOTRA rule book. Official NOTRA rules can be found at www.notra.org.
