Welcome! Welcome to Stratford School

t Stratford School, we believe high expectations lead to extraordinaryA results. We begin early, applying our advanced and intentionally balanced curriculum in order to inspire and nurture the minds and hearts of every student.

Our ever-evolving curriculum infuses science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics — or STEAM — to help students develop the diverse set of problem-solving skills and talents they’ll need in our changing world. Our experienced teachers foster a physically and emotionally secure environment where children feel safe and eager to try new things without the fear of failing.

This carefully designed approach challenges students, accelerates their achievement, and prepares them to become tomorrow’s creative problem-solvers, innovators, and visionary, confident leaders.

From the Founder

s an educator, I believe in providing students with a positive and engagingA learning environment. A rich and challenging curriculum, combined with strong character education, transforms the lives of children.

My vision for Stratford School began with a passion for learning and a desire to inspire curiosity and wonder in children. I yearned to bring back excellence in education and dreamed of offering a world-class education to students throughout the Bay Area. An opportunity arose in 1999 to open our first Stratford School in Danville, . Since then, word quickly spread about our student results and how our passionate teachers cultivate a nurturing and engaging classroom. Keeping the dream alive, we have now grown to many communities throughout the Bay Area and in Southern California.

Learning and caring happens here. I invite you to let our story come to Sherry Adams life as you turn these pages, enjoy a personalized tour, and discover the Founder, Stratford School Stratford School difference. Welcome,

1 Applying STEAM at every step along the way

e build our academic curriculum in a way that Wintentionally applies STEAM content from Preschool through the 8th grade. We accomplish this through a unique cross-disciplinary approach that enhances critical thinking, integrates ideas from multiple subjects, and ultimately expands student learning.

We also incorporate both fine arts and performing arts as essential components of our STEAM curriculum. Arts education complements the more traditional STEM approach to foster creative thinking and promote balanced development in young minds.

By approaching the arts and sciences in this unique way, we provide the hands-on learning experiences students need to develop their skills in critical reasoning, problem-solving, and creative expression.

TESTIMONIALS FROM STRATFORD PARENTS

I have truly enjoyed each and every teacher that both of my daughters have had. They care about the students, are passionate about all they do and really inspire a world of learning. I love the balanced curriculum, exposure to STEM, and emphasis on math, science, Spanish, culture, and theater.

~ Emily K., Stratford Fremont

After touring 10+ schools, we picked this one and are so glad that we did. Our older child is in Preschool and he’s excited to go to school every single day and is learning to love learning!

~ Charmaine D., Stratford Los Gatos

We love the school. The academics are strong and challenging, yet there’s a lot of support from teachers and staff. Kids are safe and well taken care of. Stratford teachers go far and beyond to help our children grow not only academically, but to be people of character.

~ Tatiana D., Stratford San Francisco Middle School

My daughter tells me on a regular basis, “Mom, I love learning! Mom, I love this school so much!” There’s nothing better than seeing your child thrive and loving it! We are so very grateful for this school and its community! We love Stratford! The future leaders are being created here every day!

~ Shannon R., Stratford Morgan Hill

This is an absolute gem of a Preschool and the instruction is top-notch. Many schools claim “STEM,” but Stratford delivers. From monthly interdisciplinary units of study and engaging hands-on centers, to daily music lessons, a science and Spanish teacher, and flexible before and after school options, it doesn’t get better than Stratford.
