Sofico Itinerary By car From Brussels/Bruxelles Follow the highway E40 in the direction of Oostende. Take exit 16 (Merelbeke/ Antwerpen/Zelzate/Eeklo/Gent). At the end of the exit road drive onto the R4 and follow the direction of Eeklo/Gent/Merelbeke (take second road to the right after the highway exit). Follow the R4 for about 5km (3 miles) along the canal and take exit N60 in the direction of Oudenaarde/Zwijnaarde. Follow the N60 for about 1km until you reach an elongated roundabout. At the end of this roundabout, turn left direction Merelbeke: Tramstraat. Proceed along the Tramstraat and take the second turning to the left, at the barrier. Sofico is located on your immediate left. From Oostende/Brugge Follow the highway E40 in the direction of Brussels. Take exit 14 (Deinze/Gent-Expo). Take exit Gent. At the end of the exit road turn right on the N43. Follow the N43 in the direction of Gent until you reach a large roundabout (De Sterre). At the roundabout take direction N60/Oudenaarde (immediately at your right hand side). Follow the N60 for about 2km until you reach an elongated roundabout. At the end of this roundabout, turn left direction Merelbeke: Tramstraat. Proceed along the Tramstraat and take the second turning to the left, at the barrier. Sofico is located on your immediate left. From Antwerpen Follow the highway E17 in the direction of Gent/Kortrijk/Lille. Take exit 8 “De Pinte/ Nazareth”. At the end of the exit road, take direction Gent (turn left). Follow the N60 for about 3km until you reach an elongated roundabout. On the roundabout take the first road to the right direction Merelbeke: Tramstraat. Proceed along the Tramstraat and take the second turning to the left, at the barrier. At the end of the exit road, take direction Gent (turn right). Follow the N60 for about 3km until you reach an elongated roundabout. SOFICO NV Technologiepark 84 B-9052 Zwijnaarde Belgium By public transport From Brussels International Airport In Brussels International Airport (Zaventem), take either a direct train to Gent or a train with a stop-over at Brussel Zuid/Bruxelles Midi. There are about three trains per hour and the travel time is either 50, 60 or 70 minutes. Get off at the railway station “Gent-St. Pieters”. See below for continuation of the travel route. From Gent St. Pieters Railway Station At the railway station take either bus nr. 70, 71 or 72. Get out at the third bus stop on the Tramstraat (=street name) in Zwijnaarde (=municipalty name), in front of the research building of Chevron-Texaco. Get into the “Technologiepark” entrance road that leads to the Chevron-Texaco research building. Sofico is located on your immediate left. Alternatively take a taxi to Sofico (address: Technologiepark 84, Gent-Zwijnaarde).
