COUNTY OF VERMILION RIVER PROVINCE OF BY-LAW N0. 07-XX

A BY-LAW of the County of Vermilion River in the Province of Alberta concerning the leasing of Tax Recovery Land (Grazing Leases) under provisions of Section 425(2), Division 8, Part 10 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26.1, 2000, with amendments thereto:

WHEREAS no written notice of non-application has been received for the leasing of land acquired by the County of Vermilion River as set forth below:

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the County of Vermilion River enacts as follows:

That the County Administrator be authorised to execute the necessary lease in accordance with the provision herein set out, and

That the part SE 24-45-1-W4 be leased to John Peter Furtas of , Alberta for the yearly rental of $550.00 for the year 2008.

That the Pt. SW 1-55-1-W4 ($227.92); SW 12-55-1-W4 ($520.08) and SE 12-55-1-W4 ($511.28) be leased to Edward Forbes Parke of Onion Lake, Saskatchewan for the yearly rental of $1259.28 for the year 2008.

That the NW 21-55-1-W4 ($458.48); NE 28-55-1-W4 ($381.04) and SW 28-55-1-W4 ($381.04) be leased to Douglas and William McArthur, Onion Lake, Saskatchewan for the yearly rental of $1220.56 for the year 2008.

That the NW 22-55-1-W4 be leased to Leonel Benson of Tulliby Lake, Alberta, for the yearly rental of $234.08 for the year 2008.

That the NW 30-55-1-W4 ($451.44) and SW 30-55-1-W4 ($352.00) be leased to Malcolm Lynn Eaton, Tulliby Lake, Alberta for the yearly rental of $803.44 for the year 2008.

That Pt. SW 26-55-2-W4 be leased to Cindy Belsheim of Marwayne, Alberta for the yearly rental of $398.64 for the year 2008.

That the NE 2-55-3-W4 ($694.32); SW 12-55-3-W4 ($607.20) and SW 14-55-3-W4 ($694.32) be leased to Hines Ranching Co. Ltd. of Marwayne, Alberta for the yearly rental of $1995.84 for the year 2008.

That the NE 10-55-3-W4 ($697.84); NW 12-55-3-W4 ($607.20) and SE 12-56-3-W4 ($354.64) be leased to James E. Hines of Dewberry, Alberta for the yearly rental of $1659.68 for the year 2008.

That the SW 13-55-4-W4 be leased to Mark Johre of Marwayne, Alberta for the yearly rental of $220.00 for the year 2008, reserving thereout access road to SE 13-55-4-W4 (the County of Vermilion River No. 24 also reserved the right to remove gravel and same when required, the lessee must supply gate tenders when required, the lessee to handle the expense.)

That the SE 10-54-4-W4 be leased to Art Wheat of Marwayne, Alberta for the yearly rental of $354.64 for the year 2008.

That the NW 17-54-04 W4 be leased to Derek Wright of Rivercourse, Alberta for the yearly rental of $6,579.00 for the year 2008.

The above land is leased subject to the reservations and conditions contained in the existing Certificate of Title and Executed Lease Agreement.

This By-Law comes into effect upon Third and Final Reading.
