Gary and his wife Donna, along with their two sons, own and operate Beck Farms. Their Lang area mixed farming operation includes grain, as well as purebred and commercial Charolais cattle. Their family of two sons and a daughter has grown to include two daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, two grandsons and four granddaughters.

Gary’s involvement in the community is long-standing and includes: • Past Director of the Lang Co-op Board • Served on the local Wheat Pool Committee Gary Beck • Past-President of the Milestone Recreation Centre Incumbent • Past Board member of the Lang United Church

For the past 16 years, Gary has been an active Director on the Weyburn Credit Union Board. Gary has completed Credit Union Director Training during his directorship. Before Lang Credit Union amalgamated with Weyburn Credit Union, Gary served as a Director there for almost 28 years. Gary wishes to continue representing the Lang and area members at the Board Room table.

Kelly and her husband Jim were both born and raised in Weyburn. Between them, they have 5 kids and 3 grandkids. Kelly’s been a member of the Weyburn Credit Union since she was old enough to open her own account - approximately 40 years! Their families are all strong supporters of the Weyburn Credit Union. Kelly’s father Quinton Patrick was a WCU Board member for 26 years and received the Director Order of Merit Award in 2012.

Kelly has worked for Regional Housing Operations/Living Skies Housing Authority for 17 years in a variety of positions including Finance and Kelly Linnell Information Services Administrator, Business Analyst, Accounting Supervisor, and Area Manager. She earned her Accredited Residential Manager designation in 1999 and her Certified Property Manager designation in 2012. She has held a position on the local Real Estate Institute of Saskatchewan board since 2013 where she currently is Chapter President. In her current position as Area Manager, she works with 29 housing authority boards, providing support, training and direction for the efficient and effective delivery of housing programs and services. She also provides training to boards regarding their authority, responsibility and accountability for their operations.

Kelly would be honoured to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a Weyburn Credit Union Board member where she wants to help ensure the success and well-being of the Credit Union.

Rob grew up in Goodwater where he completed his primary schooling. He and his wife Linda have two daughters, one son, and six grandchildren.

In 2008, Rob retired with more than 30 years of service with SaskTel. Throughout his career he held a variety of positions including apprentice lineman, cable splicing, fault locating and repair, computer network installation, customer install and repair, to trunking and switching technician.

Rob Ror Rob has pursued an ongoing interest in horticulture and he obtained a Prairie Incumbent Horticulture Certificate from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005.

Rob’s involvement within the community includes: • Served for 3 years on the Weyburn Minor Hockey Board • Coached Minor Hockey, Ball and Soccer for several years • Served as Treasurer of Weyburn Telcare (SaskTel Employee Benevolent Fund)

He has shown commitment to the Weyburn Credit Union Board of Directors by attaining his graduate status of the Credit Union Director Achievement Program and has also held the Board position of 1st Vice President during his six year Directorship.

Andrew completed his secondary education at the Weyburn Comprehensive School. He then went on to earn his Interprovincial Journeyman’s Machinist accreditation through Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). Andrew has almost 20 years’ experience in the field of machining, with the past 11 years as the owner and president of Chip 9 Machining Ltd. in Weyburn.

He and his wife Alison have three children, Eric, Hunter, and Nikita. Andrew supports local groups such as the Royal Canadian Legion, the Weyburn Young Andrew Fellows, and the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation. Shanaida Andrew hopes to represent the local small business owners on the Board. He understands the importance of Credit Union membership as Weyburn Credit Union could not exist without them. He would like the opportunity to learn and work alongside fellow Board members to ensure a prosperous future for the community and the Credit Union.
