The 2003-04 season was the school’s first competing at an NCAA Division I level. In 2004-05, Westminster 1-0 America East Conference 3-4 UVU played it first full Division I schedule. As a program transitioning from junior college to DI, UVU was termed Southern Utah 4-3 Atlantic Sun Conference 0-1 “provisional” and remained that way until 2009. UVU’S provisional status was lifted and the program became a full Wyoming 1-3 Big East Conference 0-2 member of NCAA Division I on July 8, 2009.
