Molly Ann Floyd Carley Tinius On March 3, Peggy Whitson, an Alumni of the Iowa 4-H Program, visited with the 4-H members, students, and faculty at Hartsfield Elementary School in , Texas, during a live downlink from the International Space Station (ISS). They got to ask questions about her life, her 4-H experiences, and her work as a NASA astronaut. She shared her most memorable 4-H experiences that included giving presentations, first at the club, then in the community, and eventually at State Fair. Wyatte Goodman She also talked about the experiments she was conducting on board the Space Station. Peggy is the first woman to command an International Space Station mission. She CAPITOL EXPERIENCE will also beat the record of any American astronaut for ‘time in space’ on this mission, beating the 534 days held by Jeff Williams.
