INTRODUCTION 1 Eligible Bidders 1.1 Bidders should not be associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by the Purchaser to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications and other documents to be used for the supply of goods to be purchased under this Invitation for Tenders. 1.2 Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by any State Government or PSU or by Government of India or Local Bodies. 2 Cost of tendering 2.1 The Bidders shall bear all the costs associated with the preparation and submission of its tender and Director, DSERT herein after referred to as purchaser, will in no case be responsible or liable for this costs regardless of the conduct or outcome of the tender process. 2.2 The Bidder may wish to visit and examine the sites (Schools) and obtain for itself, at its own responsibility and risk, all information that may be necessary for preparing the bid and entering into the Contract. The costs of visiting the site or sites shall be at the Bidder‟s own expense. Failure of a Bidder to make a site visit will not be a cause for its disqualification. B.
