Two large international trade fairs took place within 3 weeks – the LIGNA at the end of May and the Elmia Wood at the beginning of June.

The trade fair marathon started on 22 May with the LIGNA on the trade fair grounds in Hanover. With visitors numbering 93,000 for the second year in succession, the number of international visitors rose to 45 %. This was also appar- ent on the JENZ trade fair stand.
