However, you note that the Query Builder Task GUI in SAS Enterprise Guide does not have an Update/Insert option. Methods to accomplish simple types of update, insert, and/or carry-forward operations in SAS Enterprise Guide are described and illustrated here using small data sets. First, we briefly review relevant Base SAS programming methods, including DATA step and PROC SQL code.
