The results of the inspection showed that radioactivity was below the Standard Limit in all the six samples analyzed this time, including anchovy landed at the Katagai Fishing Port (Kujukuri Town), alfonsino landed at the Katsuura-tobu Fishing Port, Japanese amberjack and Japanese jack mackerel landed at the Tomiura Fishing Port, Japanese jack mackerel landed at the Yasuda Fishing Port (Kyonan Town), and seabass landed at the Port. The Chiba Prefectural Government will continue to conduct inspections of radioactive materials in fishery products, and to publicize the results promptly for ensuring the safety of Chiba’s fishery products.
