NOTE: The total number of buses operating on TOLST and London Pride services under London Service Permits, along Coventry Street W1, shall not exceed 39 buses per hour at any time of the year. (b) As main route above to Buckingham Palace Road then Grosvenor Gardens, Grosvenor Place and then as main route. (c) As main route above to Marble Arch then Park Lane, Upper Brook Street, Grosvenor Square, Carlos Place, Mount Street, Davies Street, Berkeley Square, Berkeley Street, Piccadilly, Piccadilly Circus and then as main route. (d) As main route above to Parliament Street then Parliament Square (east and south sides), Broad Sanctuary, Victoria Street, Artillery Row (double-run turning at roundabout junction with Rochester Row), Buckingham Gate and then as main route. 1 (e) As main route above to Pall Mall then St. James’s Street, Piccadilly, Duke of Wellington Place, Grosvenor Place, Knightsbridge, Kensington Road, Kensington Gore, Kensington Road, Kensington High Street, Kensington Church Street, Notting Hill Gate, Bayswater Road, Lancaster Terrace, Westbourne Street, Bayswater Road, Marble Arch and then as main route. NOTE: To be used for a maximum of one journey per day only. Towards Woburn Place Northumberland Avenue, Charing Cross, Trafalgar Square (south side), Cockspur Street, Pall Mall, Waterloo Place, (Lower) Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Shaftesbury Avenue, Charing Cross Road, Tottenham Court Road, Great Russell Street, Montague Street, Russell Square (west and north sides), Woburn Place STANDS AND TURNING POINTS The Operator should note that under normal circumstances, the specific restrictions relating to each stand will apply to the whole stand at all times. Any variation to such standing arrangements must be agreed by London Buses. In addition, the Operator should note the following general requirements: 1) Drivers MUST switch off engines during the layover periods on stands. 2) No meal reliefs may be taken on any stand without the permission of London Buses. 3) No crew ferry vehicles may enter any stand without the permission of London Buses. 4) Buses should be scheduled with a maximum layover time of 20 minutes between arrival and departure. TRAFALGAR SQUARE, NORTHUMBERLAND AVENUE, WC2 Public stand in Northumberland Avenue south side, from a point 24 metres west of the western kerb line of Great Scotland yard, extending 12 metres westwards. Buses proceed from Haymarket via Pall Mall East, Trafalgar Square (west and south sides), Charing Cross, Whitehall, Whitehall Place, Northumberland Avenue to stand and depart direct to Charing Cross and Trafalgar Square. Set down and pick up on stand. AVAILABILITY: At any time. OPERATING RESTRICTIONS: No more than one TOLST/London Pride bus to stand at any one time. MEAL RELIEFS: Meal relief vehicles must not stand at any time. FERRY VEHICLES: No ferry vehicles to use stand at any time. 2 CHARLES II STREET, SW1 Public stand in Charles II Street, south side, commencing 9.6 metres south-west of western kerbline of Haymarket and extending 15 metres westwards. AVAILABILITY: 9.00 - 19.00 daily. OPERATING RESTRICTIONS: No more than two TOLST/London Pride buses to stand at any one time. MEAL RELIEFS: Meal relief vehicles must not stand at any time. FERRY VEHICLES: No ferry vehicles to use stand at any time. CHARING CROSS ROAD, WC2 Public stand in Charing Cross Road east side, south of junction with Cranbourn Street. Buses proceed from Shaftesbury Avenue (on alternative route (a)) via Charing Cross Road to stand and depart via Charing Cross Road, St Martins Place to Duncannon Street. AVAILABILITY: At any time. OPERATING RESTRICTIONS: No more than one TOLST /London Pride bus to stand at any one time. MEAL RELIEFS: Meal relief vehicles must not stand at any time. FERRY VEHICLES: No ferry vehicles to use stand at any time. WOBURN PLACE, WC1 Public stand in Woburn Place west-side, from a point approximately 77 metres north of northernmost kerbline of Russell Square, extending 21 metres northwards. Buses proceed from Russell Square (west and north side) to Woburn Place to stand and depart via Woburn Place, Tavistock Square to Bedford Way. Set down and pick up on stand. AVAILABILITY: At any time. OPERATING RESTRICTIONS: No more than one bus to stand at any one time. MEAL RELIEFS: Meal relief vehicles must not stand at any time. FERRY VEHICLES: No ferry vehicles to use stand at any time. PICKING UP AND SETTING DOWN POINTS 1. Terminal point in Northumberland Avenue. 2. Alternative Terminal point in Charles II Street. 3. Alternative Terminal point in Charing Cross Road. 4. Rupert Street, tourist bus stop at lamp column no. 3 - On alternative route (a) only. At this point buses may stop for no longer than is necessary to pick up and set down passengers; buses must not stop at this point for any other reason: 5.
