Etobicoke, ON – Personal Support Worker – Live In Hiring organization Qualicare Toronto South Description Qualicare Homecare of Toronto is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable Employment Type individuals to join our family. As aCaregivers/Personal Support Workers a:1:{i:0;s:9:”FULL_TIME”;} (PSW’s) you will support our clients in Toronto, North Etobicoke and South Etobicoke. providing Alzheimer care, Auto Injury Care and Senior Care. Job Location Work setting is within private residence. Etobicoke, ON, CA As a Qualicare employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate client focused care.

How you will spend your days:

Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s) Light Housekeeping (IADL’s vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.) Basic Meal Preparation Medication Reminders Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers Providing companionship and emotional support Responding to emergency situations Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

Success in this role:

Personal Support Worker Certificate or Health Care Aide, DSW, Foreign Trained Nurses, Nursing Leadership, Caregiver with Life Experience

Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred

Documentation skills

Ability to follow client care plan

Strong communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent customer service skills

Compensation: $180.00 per day – 1 Dedicated Family Home

PPE:

Qualicare will supply all necessary PPE (Mask, gloves, sanitizer-if any additional PPE is required-Qualicare will provide)

Covid 19: Must be wiling to take a Covid19 test at a private client’s request

Facility setting-Covid testing required every 7 days Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required Safe workplace environments
